Wow, i like how they already appeared on the boat when a certain part of the song, and the moving set made it seem like they are actually moving to different locations, very wonderful!

This is an interesting set design. Its more complex than the original which was simple and Charming, but i think this set looks great and i would live to see it live

Very inventive staging of this portion of the show.
This is a gorgeous staging, the way the walls move and the boat slips thru. Mesmerizing! The costuming has a very "Dracula" vibe to it...but I think it works well.

I saw yesterday this show live. I think that the sets, the costumes, the music and the acting are all great. Several changes were made in comparison with the original production. Some of them made me raise my eyebrows in surprise (e.g. the ballet from "Il muto" and Past the Point of No Return) and some of them were a very nice touch (e.g. there is a character played by a child and thank God this is not a reference to Love Never Dies). And some fun fact I learned today is that the set designer for this production (Gary McCann) worked as the assistant of Maria Björnson, the set and costume designer for the original POTO production, at some point.
I really recommend going to see this show live if you can. I won't upload any new videos from it (at least not this year) as I think it might ruin the theatre experience :)
Yeah, the theatre director said that they were not allowed to use the original production.

This is the reason why, only few countries will change just the costume for what feels right to that said country. Which I love this one for the use of stage and making sure that works within their budget.
It goes for the same on Love Never Dies, cause of the two versions that their working on it. That’s why the America got the original version that was worked in the London version, while parts of Asia and Australia got the 2nd version.
Honestly the only part of the set I don’t like is the stairs. They look like a set from a high school.
I like the staging, just feel if the whole thing was choreographed tighter it would look fantastic. To me the set changes are over done with little impact here. For the effort and cost of this set, you'd hope they would use every inch of it well and time the transitions perfectly.

I don't know any Romanian musical actor better suited for the role
@@NarAcțiune I’d love to see a Romanian opera tenor or baritone sing the role, as fitting the role. Opera tenor Darius Coltan would be a wonderful choice.
I prefer the original stage design.
A lot of choices made... Not many of them good.
I love the way the thingys (I can never remember words 🥲) move around to create the illusion that they're actually moving around through different locations!
The lighting is terrible, please stop the moving lights from moving, they don't need to move at all while the scenery moves, also why is the scenery moving when the boat stops? You can't have sim real boating and then random scenic moving, lol, mess!
