Their music could of been so much more. It's good, the singing and the tunes but it's soulless and shallow. 40 year old men lusting after young women basically.
Plus they haven't treated their fans very well. Bad concerts, late, few songs, job done kind of crap. These are people that support them and deserve better.

I think this doesn't feel depressing, nor sad. It feels like you've passed the stage of the innocence of childhood and the recklessness of teenage years. In other words, the fact that you appreciate this kind of songs means you've reached maturity.

“Cry” dices my heart into little cubes. It reminds me of all of the memories that I used to make. Realising that these memories are gone, it breaks me. Remembering how me and my friends used to listen to CAS and sing along. Gosh I wish I could go back to those times…

Because of the pain my ex caused me, I was not able to play a single Cigarettes After Sex for months - yes for months! Because these songs would bring all the pain I've been trying to overcome. Yesterday I saw him with his new girlfriend while I'm there and today I decided to play the entire album because I don't care anymore and I am not afraid. I will blast all of their albums without hesitation and I am so happy that I can finally listen to them again!

Recuerdo cuando salió este álbum, era un día lluvioso en mi ciudad y cuando escuché "Don't Let Me Go", sabía que no tardaría en llorar. "Kiss it Off Me" fue un tema que estaba pasando en aquel momento y me dolió mucho. Siempre que escucho "Heavenly", te sientes en un lugar desconocido donde no quisieras irte jamás. "You're The Only Good Thing in My Life" es esa canción que siento que jamás dedicaré, porque es tan especial que casi nadie la menciona. "Touch" fue un golpe al corazón sobre lo que sentía en ese momento. "Hentai" me hacía despertar varias cosas diferentes, ya eso se puede decir más en profundidad. "Cry", era como el cielo que estaba cayendo la lluvia y no podía parar, así se sentía la canción. "Falling in Love" me sentía que en realidad me sentía enamorado y que podría ser correspondido en un futuro no muy lejano. "Pure" fue ese final en el que la consagración de nuestro amor, sentía que hacerte el amor era lo más sincero y puro que podía conectar con ella. 🖤
Esperare con ansias el nuevo álbum que espero no se demore mucho. 🙏🏼

everytime i listen to any song of their album i feel like crying because it reminds me of past relationships, as an advice: don't regret anything and don't be afraid of getting rejected, it can hurt but it will help you grow up at worst.

son bir kaç gündür, aylardır yaşadığım her şeyden, tüm duygulardan, zihnimde kıvrılan, boğsam da boğulmayan, her geçen gün büyümeye devam eden ve tüm ruhumu yiyip bitiren o yılandan uzaklaşmış gibi hissediyorum.. ilk defa buraya o yılanla birlikte gelmedim... eğer anlatırsam o yılan yeniden gelir diye korkmadan edemiyorum. bunu bozmak istemiyorum ama uzun zaman sonra hayatım bir işkence gibi hissettirmiyor. ilk defa kendimi güçlü hissediyorum, yeniden böyle hissedebileceğime ihtimal bile vermiyordum... yaşadığımı hissediyorum. kendim olduğumu hissediyorum. ilk defa hissettiğim bu hisleri ne kadar korksam bile anlatmak istiyorum... içimde büyüyen taşıyamadığım o histen kurtulduğumu bağırmak istiyorum. kendime çiçek aldım. piyano çalmaya başladım. yarım bıraktığım kitaba yeniden başladım. dinlemeyi ertelediğim playlisti dinledim. kendimle yürüyüşe çıktım. anksiyetemle savaştım. koleksiyonuma yeni bir tüy ekledim. aileme hediyeler aldım. bir sürü yeni kediyle tanıştım. yeni şarkıların beni bulmasına izin verdim... bütün bu her şeyi sadece birkaç güne sığdırmış olmam beni çok şaşırtıyor. bu zamana kadar hiçbir şey yapmadan geçirdiğim günlerin, haftaların, ayların intikamını almış gibiyim şimdi. pişmanlık duymuyorum, elimde olmadığını biliyorum.. geç kalsam da sorun değil biliyorum. üniversiteye gideceğim, iyi bir kimyager olacağım, gitar, bateri çalmayı öğreneceğim, piyanoda kendimi geliştireceğim, kendime bir motor alacağım, Helenimle bir evimiz olacak, kedimiz, hamsterimiz, tavşanımız ve balıklarımız olacak... geç kalsam da sorun değil. içimde uyuyan bütün hayallerim, umutlarım yeniden doğdu.. ne olduğunu bilmiyorum ama her şeyi bir anda değiştiren her neyse onu bulduğum için öylesine mutluyum ki... umarım bu böyle devam eder ve asla bozulmaz. korkuyorum ama bu sefer korkularımın, yaşamamı engellemesine izin vermeyeceğim. yarım bıraktığım ne varsa yeniden başlamak istiyorum. bu aptal dönemin bittiğine emin olmak istiyorum.. iyiyim, iyi olmaya devam etmek istiyorum. tüm bu zorlukları kendime zarar vermeden atlattığım için kendimle gurur duyuyorum. bir kaç günde bütün zihnimin, düşüncelerimin ve duygularımın bu denli değişmesine çok şaşırıyorum ama bundan memnunum. özüme döndüğümü hissediyorum...

eğer umutsuzluğa düşerseniz, bir şeyler yolunda gitmezse, yaşamaya devam edemeyeceğinizi düşünürseniz, kaybolursanız, bir çıkış yolu ararsanız, yalnız hissederseniz, hiçbir şeyin yoluna girmeyeceğine inanırsanız buraya gelin... buraya gelin ve kimseye anlatamadığınız her şeyi anlatın. kalbiniz ferahlayacak, burası eviniz olacak, dertlerinizi alıp çok uzaklara götüren bir gemi olacak burası... eğer yorulursanız dinlenin. geç kalmak problem değil. dinlenin, kendinize zaman tanıyın. hiçbir şey yapmak için enerjiniz yoksa hiçbir şey yapmayın, kendinizi zorlamayın. hayal kurmayı, umut etmeyi bırakmayın. hayat binlerce kez düşürürse sizi, binlerce kez ayağa kalkın. hayatta kalmanızı sağlayacak hiçbir şey yoksa onu kendiniz oluşturun. kağıttan bir gemi yapın mesela ve deyin ki eğer bir gün her şey düzelirse bu gemiyi bir denize bırakacağım. umut etmenizi sağlayacak, bu minicik şey yaşama motivasyonunuz olacak. güvenin bana. en azından deneyin. yalnız değilsiniz. kilometrelerce ötede bile olsa sizinle aynı hisseden birileri olduğunu unutmayın. ne yapmış olursanız olun kendinizden nefret etmeyin, bu sizin ilk hayatınız, yaşamak gibi zor bir şeyi ilk defa deniyorsunuz hata yapmanız çok normal, bunu kendinize hatırlatın. ve son olarak, kendinize bir çiçek alın ve kendinizi affedin, bunu hak ediyorsunuz...
