@@9roselove9it wouldn’t the fact she left them overnight unraveled some and crushed others and she separated them dry she should know better than to not use an oil
You should have done it in the morning and let it air dry and then seperated them with oil. It’s not really an overnight, take down in the morning type of style cause they get crushed.
From the tutorials I’ve seen, this tool looks like something you do on damp hair and then air dried to take down the same day. Quickening the drying process could mean using a blow dryer but to diffuse it or go under a hooded dryer and then separate with an oil.
the coils had potential! for one though using an oil and twirling each curl around your finger would ensure that definition stays. you kinda pulled each coil apart and didn’t reinforce the curl it created. love your videos!
If you twist it more before moving down the length of your hair, it'll twist tighter to your scalp, just like when you're doing finger coils. So don't pull down when you start, twist until you can't anymore THEN start pulling down. This is a same-day styling tool... you're meant to let them dry and take down on the same day. Sleeping on the wet coils crushes them and messes up the form. Oil your fingers and your hair before taking the coils down. Lastly, SLOW DOWN LOL Its not meant to be a quick styling/ save time tool, you need to set aside some time to properly form the coils and allow them to dry. A diffuser can help dry/ set the coils without disturbing them. Hope this helps!
Thank you for all the direct tips, queen 🙏 My hair is short rn, but I'm planning on growing it back out at some point (not any time too soon, but maybe within like, two years or so), and when it's longer it's curly (not as curly as hers/coily), so I'd love to use this
You took them down wrong. You need a lite oil, and curl it in the direction it's curled with your finger. Then pick the roots and style. I could see the vision
When I finger coil my hair and take it down it looks amazing and my hair is curlier/type 4a BUT I don’t usually sleep with it. I let it air dry or blow dry it then uncoil it.
Omg I love your vids so I have almost exactly the same hair type so what you want to do is after u take out the twists get your hair wet in the shower and put leave in conditioner in it and it’s so beautiful 🧡❤️🩷
You should do it again but next time have your hair wet and then defuse it or just let it air dry I personally like air dry better but then you shake it ❤️❤️❤️love ya
As a licensed cosmetologist, I can B confirm you’d get a similar result (the previous video 😂) finger coiling your texture of hair with a curl cream/custard. Then sitting under heat or diffusing your coils… also if you want a tauter look two strand twist/ plait the roots about an inch down.
You have to use oil to separate them and its better not to sleep on them before dry . This tool makes the same curl pattern as with finger coiling method
I don't think you should have left it overnight. Just blow dry/defuse after twisting. For the way you did you could have opened the twists immediately and defuse
The first technique twisting from rootwhen you started in the back is best. The easier route doesn't allow the brush to comb through your hair. Maybe wash then comb out hair b4 using curling brush.
1. Thank you for linking the results to te first short. 2. Try this again, maybe with larger sections. 3. Put some hair oil in your hands so your curls don't friz.
Before using I would have added a frizz control as well. Use oil on fingers and gently pull curls apart. Use a bonnet girl. That thing should be your friend.
I don’t use this tool but i have a similar curl pattern (just coarser/thicker hair) and u need to take down with an oil or butter and twirl each section, also needs to be dried quickly or at least while awake so the curls arenot crushed…..i use a cooking comb like that’s u use to start starter locs and it’s def possible to get nice curls with a clumped coil. Also, twist the root or braid the root then coil the length of the hair.
She left it wet overnight, which made her curls stay tight. She needed to separate and diffuse them. I don't plan on getting the brush, but other reviews I've seen definitely didn't sleep with them clumped and turned out fine.
I think not leaving overnight will help with the bangs. And I feel like you can get the same effect with just hand twisting.. Also do you have ant tips for girlies who have perms and not naturally curly hair.? My hair is naturally very fine and straight but I love perming it but it’s hard to take care of since my hair isn’t technically the texture of “curly hair” ❤
I will say my hair is of a similar tightness and curl pattern, and I will finger coil a couple strands here and there (basically what that brush is doing, and then pull them a little to keep them smooth and glossy when i separate them. I don’t like having my hair fully finger coiled, I like my natural pattern too much
You took the twist down to aggressively you have to take them down and recoil as you're taking them down if that makes sense you're just pulling the curls out. The girls are right to say use oil to do it cuz then there's less frizz while you're taking them down. I definitely have tight curls and I use this method all the time just with my fingers called finger coiling. I do let it dry overnight in a bonnet and then take down
Well. . . Considering its a comb and you just did it the way you wanted to instead of brushing first. . . I think its safe to say it did what you wanted it to do and it was still affective. Its a good item when use properly. . . 😅
it's meant to be defused and deprecated not left overnight but i think it still looks cute
The results would be the same tho. It’s the technique that she used
@@9roselove9it wouldn’t the fact she left them overnight unraveled some and crushed others and she separated them dry she should know better than to not use an oil
I was about to say too I don’t think she should leave it in over night
@@9roselove9 no it wouldn’t. Ppl wouldn’t spend 60$ on a diffuser if it would look the same lol
What's deprecated?

Literally she didn’t give it a real chance
the coils had potential! for one though using an oil and twirling each curl around your finger would ensure that definition stays. you kinda pulled each coil apart and didn’t reinforce the curl it created. love your videos!
Put a little oil on your fingertips before separating the coils. It helps lessen the frizz factor.

I'm genuinely pleased that she linked the follow up vid
glad everyone agreed its a same day style not an overnight one 😭😭

Unraveled him next time using oil, so it won’t be so frizzy
Yep her hair is so strong and beautiful ❤❤
Who thinks Trulee has the nicest hair no matter what
👇🏽
it’s just because there are creases from where you tied your hair up but if u diffused it it would’ve look way better
When I finger coil my hair and take it down it looks amazing and my hair is curlier/type 4a BUT I don’t usually sleep with it. I let it air dry or blow dry it then uncoil it.
That looks beautiful

It looks so cute!!
Use a different leave in or leave in and oil. It looks dry. Don’t leave them in overnight either that’s definitely a morning defuser deal
Can't wait to see you try again with the tips in the comments 😂
You should do it again but next time have your hair wet and then defuse it or just let it air dry I personally like air dry better but then you shake it ❤️❤️❤️love ya
Well my five year old saw this over my shoulder and said "Mommy she has really pretty hair" so that's one positive review 😅
Note. When taking out the curls you want to use some oil on your fingers. Definitely try it again. Such a beautiful curl
I love your videos
hiii i love your hair 💜
Probably should watch a few videos on how to properly use it, and then try again cuz I feel like it could have looked sooo cute on you

I agree it doesn't look... The best, but on you, I could definitely see you still pulling it off❤️
Looks cute😊
Honestly I loved the look 👀
Im pretty sure you have 3b hair like me! Your natural curls look amazing! Beautiful either way! 🤍
A light diffuser would've made it perfect
You look so good
You have to use oil to separate them and its better not to sleep on them before dry .
This tool makes the same curl pattern as with finger coiling method
Suppose to diffuse! do not air dry curlies!
You should try using it @ your roots! It gives crazy volume with a diffuser.
I don't think you should have left it overnight. Just blow dry/defuse after twisting. For the way you did you could have opened the twists immediately and defuse
Her hair is a slay always lol
It looks good
I liked it !
Do it again, but DONT wait a whole night to separate the curls
Ooooo I bet I could do starter locs with these and just define the roots with my hands
You should put the hairstyle in a half up half down ❤
Maam you have to diffuse your hair! You cant let them dry overnight while u sleep!
I think it would have turned out better if you would have used a blow dryer instead of air dry ❤ plus with the use of hair gel before curling it
The first technique twisting from rootwhen you started in the back is best. The easier route doesn't allow the brush to comb through your hair. Maybe wash then comb out hair b4 using curling brush.
Trulee’s bad hair days is everybody else’s great hair days 😂
Try it again but this time diffuse the curls please!
Can you try the Dyson airstrait on your hair type?
❤Who just loves trulee

It’s giving Lala loopsy, btw I love you so much and I love your content!!!❤️
I had a curling tool like that as a kid but never had a clue how to use it.
Thank you.
Before using I would have added a frizz control as well. Use oil on fingers and gently pull curls apart. Use a bonnet girl. That thing should be your friend.
It wasn’t for over night, should have used a defuser to dry then un twist them
I do wonder if it works best with a diffuser so it’s less likely to get tangled??
It’s looks like some cute asf 3a3c locs
What is this brush called ? ❤
What is the brand of the comb calld?
I want to know too because it might work on my hair
You’re suppose to blow dry it then separate the curls not sleep in them overnight

I would use the thing how you’re supposed to use it from the roof to tip
You're absolutely beautiful, the tool did no justice to your hair!!
With the color and the roots the way there, It was giving lil pump vibes.
It would be perfect for a rag doll Halloween costume. Just an idea since you already bought the thing
So cute
I'd bet diffusing instead of sleeping on it overnight would be better. If I tried it my hair would be insane lol. You have beautiful hair tho
Maybe wear a bonnet whike sleeping to keep the hair. Also, use an oil on your fingers to untwist then fluff the roots and slick the edges.
DONT EVER SLEEP WITH WET HAIR PLEASE also after you finished doing that defuse it and then brush out your hair with your fingers
now i know not to buy it cuz i have the same curls as you, lov you so much!!! 🧡❤️
She left it wet overnight, which made her curls stay tight.
She needed to separate and diffuse them.

When you separate the curls you need to put some kind of very thin oil on your hands so you avoid frizz.
It might not be your style but i still like it. I can only ever dream of volume and curls so your hair always looks good to me
I saw this advertised but the only pictures it showed were older blondes with that like, crazy crispy hair sprayed hair.
Your supposed to do bigger sections of hair then after drying you put hair oil on your hands and when separating you twist the curl.
Maybe some oil through the hair before separating?
Beautiful hair, but that’s a lot of time for what you already have! 💙
What a beautiful woman. Wow
I think you need to go and try dreadlock extensions I think you would look amazing with those
You should’ve taken bigger chucks of hair it’ll look better also some argon oil and mousse after will help
Do bigger sections?
I didn’t twist it close to the root girl because you started to the end to make it faster
I get that she doesnt like it. But dont let that discourage anyone because THIS LOOKS AMAZING
I will say my hair is of a similar tightness and curl pattern, and I will finger coil a couple strands here and there (basically what that brush is doing, and then pull them a little to keep them smooth and glossy when i separate them. I don’t like having my hair fully finger coiled, I like my natural pattern too much
Maybe do it when damp then product and defuse
Btw those are coils not twists I used to think the same thing and thank u for making content u inspired me to start making content aswell
I like it 😅
I think it’s supposed to be defused and not left to dry over night 😅 that is how I’ve seen others do it
It might work better if you defused it instead of leaving it overnight
Ken you do 2 spais buns
Plllssss
Uhm, but I already have 4C “curls” or “zigzags” if you will.
Would that even get through my hair?
I’m not brave enough to try it🤷🏽♀️
"First of all my bangs" 😂
I Subbed 😏👌
I think sleeping in it was the wrong move. With styling tools like that you diffuse right after
sleeping with wet/damp hair is not good. Your hair is the most vulnerable in its wet state and more prone to breakage
WHAT TOOL IS THIS PLEASE😭🙏🙏🙏
the before looks like dreads
What is this tool called
You should have added oil while you unravel Sis!!!

Did you wear a bonnet???
