to be fair: these markets also sell all kinds of non alcoholic drinks. Trying out the variety of all of these is not boring either. Bavarian breweries traditionally make different kinds of non-alc drinks as well and since they are competing with each other they also try to make money with the non-alc stuff and therefore have to produce quality and/or unique products.
Germany is way ahead of the US on that. I had some non-Alcoholic beer a few years ago in Germany and it was nothing like the swill they sell in the States (at the time). Things have probably gotten a bit better by now. I see that Schorle is super popular here, especially with fruit juice.
Your videos are dope! The just keep getting better! Keep them coming please
Thanks! I will try to upload more than once per month 😂
Nice background beats. 🤙🤟✌🤜🤛
Thanks, glad you liked them :)
@@MattSuozzo Klare Sache, Meister. ^^
Ehre, wem Ehre gebührt!
Anyone else getting a “Kaiser Sose goes shopping” vibe here?
Jokes aside: Munich is the best. I used to live there and the beer (and prices) are unbelievable.
xD
Hey awesome Car !
Danke :)
Did you try the "Lammsbräu Urstoff" already?
Its sometimes hard to find, but its my favorite...!
not yet, I will look for it next time :)
3:26 - far left side - Riedenburger, dude try those out they are spectacular
Thanks for the tip :)
Jever! Sie haben Jever in München. Kistenweise. Der Tag ist gerettet.
Und Jever Fun - das einzige alkoholfreie Pils, was wirklich wie Pils schmeckt. @@andreasarnoalthofsobottka2928
Yes - Riedenburger. And Giesinger. And try the Giesinger LemondropTriple, but sit down before drinking it... @@MattSuozzo
Bierlandia
Bierhimmel 😂
So you're prepared with the Adventskalender 👍 ... as a German and mostly non-beer drinker I have to mention - offtopic 🙂 - in all these places there is a big selection of other beverage at all.
Did you buy or tried once the Glühwein - drink it hot or I drink it cold as well 🙂
Btw: another great video 🙂 .. Prost !
They have everything at the Getränkemärkte! Unlike NY you can buy beer, wine and liquor all in one place. I didn’t get any Glühwein but I will try some at the Weihnachtsmärkte 🍷🎄
@@MattSuozzo That's a very good plan 🙂
@@MattSuozzo And don´t forget to eat some ´geröstete Kastanien/Maronen´whilst drinking it. Goes really well together.
I even do it on a cold snowy day whilst walking my dogs. nothing better than watching you dogs play in the snow whilst sitting on a bench and enjoying Glühwein und Maronen. 😉
To all the Americans thinking ‘nice “Porshh”- NO! it’s “Por-sha”. You pronounce the ‘e’ at the end which sounds almost like an ‘a.’ 😊
That’s the hardest part in German. It’s “ah” not “aye”, “eh” not “ee”, etc. have to undo all my English pronunciation 😂
Imagine being so clueless talking about cases of beer then picking up a case of Radler.
Nice car 😁 !
Thanks :)
Cool stuff. How does the bottle return work? Is there a deposit for the plastic crates?
Usually there are automated machines at grocery stores that take back bottles and crates. At the Getränkemarke they had an employee count the bottles and make a receipt for you. The crates technically belong to the respective brewery, but you see people using them for furniture, bike racks, etc. the Pfand on them is around 3€.
2:22 There you can see the deposit.
0,08€ per bottle
3,10€ per crate
beer bottles are 0,08€,
Beer bottles with clip closure 0,15€,
Water or juice bottles 0,15€,
"disposable" plastic bottles and cans are 0,25€
"Über 400 Sorten Bier"
Mit viel Glück 4 Sorten Malzbier
Mit noch mehr Glück kann man eins davon trinken
Never press the hood down on the Porsche emblem, you'll see it at some point.
Yeah those hoods are thin, need to press directly above the latch :)
And the best news ... most beers are less than 20€ per case of 20 bottles (0,5l) 🙂
cheaper than water (literally)
What beer means to the German and the gun to the American!.....😁
Pretty much 😆😆
😁😁😁@@MattSuozzo
Spot on...😂
2:46 Just don't😉 Get an Ayinger. You will hardly find a better beer.
That is one of my favorites! That and Giesinger :)
there are a bunch of my friends who would aggressivly disagree with this.... it seems a love or hate thing... I don´t remember the taste of the Helles - but the Weißbier is nice... But this is a good thing... It has not to please all - it is wonderful when the people who like it are really into it... I can only smile to the fact how divers our taste is...
