Ok,I'm 51 years old grew up on gravel roads ...this thing you kids call drifting , my generation called power sliding...learn on gravel then paved road ...snow is the best I've been sideways for several blocks before....
Hey bro… so make sure you have the latest updates for CM and for your wheel because if it’s not tracking the button for your paddle it won’t set it. If not I’d reinstall the wheel drivers/ software 💪
So basically what I do is I have the handbrake set to a keyboard button and then in the wheel software change the paddle to the keybind button and that way you can have both paddles as a handbrake instead of trying to remember which one is which.
Yes 100%. Almost impossible without it because you’ll need to keep the revs up and boost up to make sure it doesn’t bog when you let go of the handbrake and ask her for POWERRRRRR
Trying to learn Something from someone who doesnt know that force Feedback exists is funny 😂(if you dont know what i mean Look Up haughn racing or any IRL and Sim drifter or Just a pro Sim drifter )

I have the handbrake as a button on my wheel but when i use it, the wheels dont lock up do i need to use clutch with handbrake to lock up the tires?
you sound south African and thats cool because I also am
Haha 😂 what’s up 😎
What track is that?
thanks
why would u ever drift at any angle below 900?
youre definitely not using 900 degree steering angle tho. so its nearly impossible to use paddle as handbreak
100% correct. I always have it set on 540 I think. Otherwise it’s just not possible, I have also made both paddles handbrake and that works as well.
@@CaptainLawrenceNZskill issue, I’ve been playing with left paddle has handbrake for almost 3 years now, with muscle memory you can make it work :)
Do you need a clutch pedal?
Yes 100%. Almost impossible without it because you’ll need to keep the revs up and boost up to make sure it doesn’t bog when you let go of the handbrake and ask her for POWERRRRRR
@CaptainLawrenceNZ do you think I can replace my brake pedal to the clutch pedal? I only have brake and accelerate and no handbrake.
What car your using? It looks gooooooood
Pretty sure it’s the RX7 with the rotary as opposed to the V8 swap. Also I think they were DCM cars? I can double check if you’re interested 🫡
Good stuff 😀😀
Thanks seb. Hope you enjoyed it.
