Ye I'm not a big Nilah player but I always thought that she was way better with engage supp than enchanters. Kinda gets me annoyed when my supp takes sona because he believes its op with Nilah passive and then complains that we lose lane. I dont have a clue of how surviving lane against decent players if my support cant retaliate or punish them being uber aggressive. Not saying its not my bad but still makes me relieved to hear a true Nilah player saying the same
What’s your take on revitalize when playing with a sup with tons of heal/shield + the support running heal. It seems like so much synergy between getting 15% more value from 2 ss starting lvl 1, nilah passive, additional healing from items plus fully stacked conqueror. Overgrowth may be better but you have to wait a fair amount of the game before it comes online
I noticed in that game with the vel'koz, even when being bullied you still went Doran's Blade. Do you think Doran's Shield is not worth it anymore? how do you assess a scenario where its a good 1st buy?

In my experience, IE makes your burst damage so high that there shouldn't really be a need for you to cast W twice in a team fight. Unless I was autoing alot, aka the enemy team is really tanky, I dont think you'll be missing the CDR for W.
Isnt the new rune that returns money after big item purchase better? After the 2nd item you already get more money out of it than bots and it gets even more layer?
Free boots helps u get to 2 items faster and you can sit on the boots for a long time, Cashback forces u to at least spend 300g on boots early and you don't get the money until after you complete the item which takes too long for Nilah

I think Nilah is strong but she relies on too much her support pick early game, she only becomes independent at lv6, other ADC's have more freedom to play the way they want

You can go IE 2nd if they are all relatively squishy but generally speaking there's always like at least 1-2 steelcaps per game and people just buy random armor as well, and some squishy champions have healing as well, like soraka

looks like navori is dead/has better alternatives for her rn. one has to be also more conservative with her E w/ it's long cooldown. though i wonder if they'd implement wild rift's nilah mechanic into PC LoL; where everytime she crits, the cooldown of her E gets lower

more space to fight is good yeah, you generally only go for plates when ur ahead + u have grubs

Probably because she already has built in pen so an extra 5 won’t matter much
last whisper builds into LDR and Mortal Reminder, i said last whisper item because you can choose between the two items when u build last whisper

I’m pretty sure that flat is subtracted BEFORE percent; otherwise, it would be too strong in synergy. Did this change at some point?

You took ghost mostly to match enemy ghost. Now that other adc’s don’t take ghost nearly as much, you don’t really need it.

doran's shield eliminates all the fighting potential in lane and the lifesteal + AD is too valuable to give up

Navori is out of the question, building an item that has no AD on it really hurts Nilah in the long run

Generally speaking Nilah never wants to buy items with no AD, last whisper 4th is too late and any tank they have will be unkillable
what about magic resist item?
maw should be the only option, they buffed it too much
