I postponed watching but this is highest quality Nilah content as usual. Simple but still flexible game plan. Maybe one day we have an Enryu for every champion
This was an awesome video dude!! Would love to see in depth on specific matchups in botlane as well! if you had to take her to another lane would you go mid or top btw?
I think Nilah mid is easier than Nilah top just because mid is a safer lane and Nilah can clear waves really fast then rotate for jungle. But in terms of the matchups, mages and assassins like Syndra/Leblanc/Zed are pretty hard. You can't really afford to make a mistake early and give a free kill to those champions.
To be honest, I didn't understand what to do in the second method let the enemies push the lane but still somehow last hit all the minions in the first two waves?
Yes! But not necessarily "all" minions have to be last hit in order to do that wave manipulation. (Do you play melee champion vs range champion in other lanes ? The wave management for Nilah is the same than playing a melee top vs teemo for example) If i understood well, in the "gathering storm" method (when we leash and meet ennemies at the same time): 😮1. You slightly let wave push toward you. Nilah is very weak level one (we saw at that Nilah loses all-in, Nilah can't poke neither), so you want to avoid fighting. You try to get minions golds, while taking the less damage possible (due to range difference, Nilah is getting bullied level one) If you can't get golds, because their level one is too painful for you, you MUST be in experience range. 😯2. Now is coming the second wave, it is a bit closer to your turret, same tactic than the first wave : Try to get golds while taking the less damage possible 😲3. Finally here is the third wave, at BEST it has to be at the limit of your turret range, but still out of it, so your wave is in a state called " freezed" (Freezed means frozen at a specific place on the lane. That freeze is possible only if ennemies has *at least 4minions more* than you, and minions from both team meet outside of the turret range) *How do you freeze* : That lane statement is possible if you had auto-ed the first and second wave *enough*. I mean if you have done too much autos on these waves, the 3rd wave will result into a push toward the ennemy, but we want 1st & 2nd waves to push toward us. If you only last hit only and don't do more autos, the 3rd wave will crash at your turret instead ! It's better to find a balance between last hitting and auto-ing 1st & 2nd wave, in order to make the 3rd wave freezing. *Having a wave crashed under your turret isn't bad, but it isn't optimal* With that third wave freezed, or crashed under your turret, you will have the level 2 before your ennemies due to Nilah passive and here is a window to be agressive, just ping your support ! If you succed to freeze the 3rd wave, the 4th wave will be slow-pushing. It means it pushes toward the ennemies but you have slightly more minions with you, than ennemies have minions with them. You have a minions advantage thanks to the slow push. Minions deals a lot of damage early game, you win 100% of the trades with a minions advantage ! *To conclude : Freeze -> slow push -> minions advantage -> positive trade => kill?* 🌟 *Remember these rules* :🌟 🥇 To *maintain* a wave statement, hit the wave as much as ennemies does. (If they do one auto, do one auto. They use one spell, use one spell) 🥈To make the wave push toward you, hit the wave a bit less than they do. 🥉To push the wave toward them, hit the wave a bit more than they do. 💥The goal is to get a level advantage at any time thanks to Nilah passive. Once you get that level advantage you win any risky trade ! (Except if they have their jgl nearby or already items advantage) I can't explain everything about wave management in a comment section, without illustrations, and Enryu can't neither. I have tried, but it's not comprehensible through words only. You need to watch *wave management videos* to understand it and apply it in game 😊

What happens if you try to push first wave because u were leashless but u couldn't full push it into the tower? Thats an issue I have when the enemy leashes but comes back in time to stop it crashing and then the next waves meet outside their turret.
That's just a matter of not autoing enough, if the wave just arrived, you should always be able to clear it before the next wave arrives. The enemy bot lane cannot hold 6 minions at lvl 1, they would lose too much HP
Im from Brazil and I love to watch your videos, they're perfect. Im learning and making my own play style with Nilah, Im actually top 20 Nilah in my country, and will prove; Nilah is a good champion. Never stop to doing your job, thank you for the Guide 🇧🇷
Good guide! Crashing the 1st wave when you don't have to leash is something I didn't realize you could do. I kinda wished you would talk more about Nilahs passive and how that influences when you hit level 2 for this strategy. If you last hit all minions as Nilah on the 1st wave how much earlier will you hit level 2 on the second wave? Since normally it is 3 melee minions on the second wave. Since id imagine it would be important as you can just surprise all in you opponent on the second wave.
It's not the worst since there is another option for dashing in Galeforce, but definitely limiting the lethality options. We'll have to see what changes Riot makes to the other ADC items though
is it confirmed they'll be removing the dash? if they make it similar to DFG and keep the 15% extra damage w/ the flat lethality mythic passive I think it will still be a viable option vs squishy comps, but it seems like Eclipse will be the go-to item for lethality Nilah now
The problem I always get when playing nilah is that I smash my lane, while out mid/top loses and then I get focused down and oneshotted every team fight. Is there a solution to that or is it just the life of being an ad carry?
Definitely try to stay away from the primary threats in the beginning of a fight and wait for your opportunity to clean up after the enemy use important cooldowns
Yep! Still a very good choice when both supports pick rather afk/soft champions that don't have kill pressure. (ex. your support is sona and enemy is soraka or something like that)
I know you precised that wave management was specific to Nilah, but is it possible to do that "First strike" wave management on other ADCs with high push potential ? (I mainly play Tristana)
It is not really possible on other champs because Nilah is the only champion in the bot lane that can secure lvl 3 by the 3rd wave. On other ADC champions I would say the basic management is just to three wave crash on cannon wave
I dont think it's because of Babus 😭 i think the item in general is too OP. When i play ADC, i was used to take Galeforce to be "safer" but because of prawler, it is completely useless, so i have swapped to shieldbow, no matter the ADC. I think Prawler kinda annihilate Galeforce and doesn't allow any outplay even if you have your flash :C
This is like a facebook ad or something lol. The music screams 5 minute crafts theme. I love it.
Amazing concise guide with 0 fluff and shitty self-promos, you're a hidden gem in the league community!!

I needed this. Nilah early is the most important and hardest phase to control. I'll take tp in case I fail first strike or gathering tho...
Agreed! Laning is really important to Nilah's scaling

Two melee minions on the 2nd wave is when you hit two, so you get to be one minion ahead which honestly matters a lot.
thoughts on new nilah build with the item changes?
Normal lethality build with Eclipse is still good, Youmuus can be a replacement for Prowler's, will make a video on this when I finish testing !
what do you think of the prowlers dash remove for nilah?

I am sorry, but ill ask the question in this video aswell, i saw in a earlier video that u dont buy boots on Nilah?? What is youre take on that?
I only build steelcaps or merc treads if it has extremely good value
Can you do it if your support pick a poke support after you pick a nilah
depends on the situation really, it varies from game to game
