I’m really looking forward to the changes coming for lakes, rivers, cliffs and caves personally, I’ve seen a lot of commits about it lately. Maps changes are always nice (more biomes and creatures are coming too)

Another little skill based mechanic of the game removed
my base got barraged by heli and completely destroyed bc i had a bow out in my own core 10/10 update no bugs
SO REAL
I've had heli agro and chase me into my base, then one missile barrage, but it glitched and stayed circling my little 2x2 starter base for several minutes.
I didn't count but it was at least 5 minutes. I tried removing my clothing and took the gun out of my hot bar and then it left.
That's the first and only time that's ever happened to me.
They can aggro through glass windows

The seismic sensor will promote more online raid defense by alerting people via rust plus. Hopefully this will cut down on the offline raiding somewhat.
@sparkleyjames can't it also be used in conjunction with industrial stuff? Take the small hard cave (2 building areas with spike trap and parkour) it's possible to get electricity down into the right cave, and ofc that means you can send it to the left one, and an exploit to make pipes go through terrain / walls too, so you can send loot down into the cave without even going down there, and when let's say the right side of the cave is being rocketed / c4d (lvl 3 for seismic sensor) within x radius you could trigger all your boxes to send all your stuff into the left cave... etc etc, could be done to send it back to the surface too. I haven't played much so idk how you would do this without raider being able to send loot back or whatever etc, still the vision is there
@@Azd1r.3358. Don't ask me I'm no expert. All you had before this seismic sensor was the HBHF sensor or using a Turret as a has target sensor to trigger the rust plus broadcast. I just recently competed a wipe for the first time in over a year and a half.

If you build Zerg bases you deserve to be offline raided
Pressure pad, laser trip wire, branches + loss of power + electrical genius = alarm triggering = text message alert. There were lots of types of alarms previously, this one is just simpler and more reliable to setup. This one can also cause false alerts.

The Rust anti cheat sucks. Even watching vids from the big Rust content creators you can tell cheats are rampant.
I wonder if FacePunch is profiting from the cheats, or they simply lack the skill to detect them in a reasonable way.

all this small walls you can just jump over with horse or car or boost not really broken just makes people to play with people and no be noob solo stuck 😂😂lol
you kinda skimmed over fishing, ive tested it and even on a modded pve server with fishing skill tree making 1.5x more fish it still sucks. i mean yes, they killed fishing with fish meat, but even doing what they say you should do "fishing up the chain" in reality you just end up having to double stack small fish to keep catching 3 different varieties of identical fish 2->1 over and over until you run out of fish.
so basically fishing is now... ignore it, store a bunch of bear meat, and when you remember, run over with an inventory of bear meat to turn into infinite scrap anyway. fishing is basically a more cumbersome recycler.
its just a bit sad cause Ive seen some hilarious youtube vids of people interacting in fishing village, and it was also a viable alternative start to go fishing village ->labs -> other monuments. now its just painful.
the update will make this game way worse, once again rust team, just helping the clans again
