A lot of people hate on Channing Tatum's accent, but I don't think they get that he's Cajun. Tatum is from Louisiana so I'm sure he knows what they sound like. Southern English and bastardized French. Pretty much nailed it.
I live in Louisiana, and I have encountered a lot of Cajuns in my 12 years of living here. The accent is spot on. I actually saw two men (father and son), talking in Cajun, and a hotel employee was chatting with them in Cajun, and they sounded just like Channing does in here.
You’re lucky. I got spoiled by a frickin WatchMojo short that literally started by revealing Blade’s appearance in the movie. A couple days before I was due to watch it. Still screamed in the theater though.
It's funny how everybody talks crap about gambit's accent in this movie. It's actually one of the most realistic accents in any media. I watched a whole video about how Channing tatum put together the accent & speech. He's also actually from Louisiana, and always wanted to play the role. It kind of p***** me off when one of his reactors said, I just can't take his accent seriously.
I hear you, actually some of these reactors annoyed me with their reaction to both him and Jennifer Garner - they worked their a$$e$ off to prepare for these roles.
Because I'm such a fan I'm already writing a small story about his Origins. Because let's face it. No movie mirrors the comics. Basically he's a card dealer in a gambling hideaway located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. His life changes drastically after a tragic raid on the premises by a gang of masked assailants dressed in black and red ceremonial garbs. Alone and ejected. He wanders the streets and spends time as a smalltime scavenger before coming across a troupe of illusionists known as the Diables D'ambre. He joins the group for a while and learns a secret power of energy manipulation from the leader. He is soon forced to confront his former hideaway assailants, Le Serpent Rouge who possess a rogue red energy version of the power his troupe practices and uncovers a secret war between the two dating back to the founding of the city. He must uncover the deepest secret of the power 'The Parchemin Violet' and master its contents to save himself and the future from falling to the mercy of this evil cabal.
Elektra I knew for a year or so, Blade friggin blew my mind and Gambit I was like holy shit in the best possible way. Laura wasn’t that much of a surprise but can’t lie I teared up when she came in and also at the campfire scene with Wolverine… “Logan” has a special place in my heart
For the young people that do not recognize Gambits accent, its Cajun French, the Bayou area of Southern Louisiana. Also I noticed no one said anything about DeadPool almost calling Electra, Wonder Woman.
It’s funny how everyone thinks that Ryan and Wesley hate each other. I saw an interview with both of them that said that they never hated each other and just played it up for the movie. It made Blades appearance all the more shocking. That’s why they throw out the line about him hating Deadpool and he says you never did.
Me and my mom watched this movie at home, the amount of hollering we did!! I was mostly shocked to see Blade and channing freaking tatum as gambit?!?!?
EVERYBODY knows Blade. That’s how badass he is. Imagine he got included in the mcu and got his own series. Maybe meet up with morbius and hunt some vamps!
We all have a favorite superhero. For Channing it was the Cajun - Gambit. Tatum grew up in Louisiana, with roots in Mississippi, Cajun culture while listening to the Creole lanuage. He read The Cajun Night Before Christmas as a kid. He literally IS Gambit. He on purpose overdid the accent, even made up some of his own lines for comedic effect. It's a comedy movie. But, commenters of the culture say the accent is well done.
I saw the movie opening weekend, and everyone got excited during this scene. I truly really want a Gambit movie with Channing Tatum. He did so well in my book.
I know a good amount of these channels have already seen the majority of the movies they react to. You can see it in their body language and face. Reacting to movies/songs is considered to be a job for a number of these channels, and they are getting called out in the comment section in these mash-up videos. Now there’s a growing number of reactors who purposely wait until the movies are streaming so they can give an honest, first time reaction..
I think Gambit sounds more Creole French than Cajun. Cajun has a slower southern drawl. Like that guy that had the cooking show and would say "I GuaRONtee". He was Cajun.
Oh man could you guys imagine if an actual ninja turtle came walking out instead of Electra 😂 I was really hoping for Ben Affleck as Batman in this movie
19:10 - “The MCU thing” was adopted by the MCU years ago…. Do you have any idea what Elektra’s Theme is? Those notes. It never made sense to her fans, ever.
I don’t understand how all of these “reactors” were able to avoid all of this on social media cause the minute the movie came out all of this was on every damn feed clips photos everything
I highly doubt that these were 1st time reactions. All of them are too big of marvel fans to not have seen it first at the bigscreen. Besides, there were too many spoilers about Blade like a week after it hit cinemas.
all these reactions are fake because one there acting sucks...and this movie was way too of big movie for these popular UA-camrs not to see this day 1 or a early screening in the theater not months later on a monitor
They literally make money off not seeing the movies in theaters. I know lots of people that like the movies and don't go to theaters for a variety of reasons. i guess you get to dictate what a real fan is though and how they have to see the movies......
Why? They make money reacting to movies; it actually pays them to not go to the theater for a lot of these. Also, I didn't see it opening weekend, does that make me a fake fan? Pretty presumptuous of you dontcha think?
I like how Wolverine pauses his drinking when Blade walks in like he senses someone really dangerous
Blade got one of the best Audience reactions ever
People in my theater lost their shit when Blade walked in!!!!
A lot of people hate on Channing Tatum's accent, but I don't think they get that he's Cajun. Tatum is from Louisiana so I'm sure he knows what they sound like. Southern English and bastardized French. Pretty much nailed it.
Several people in his family talk Cajun, his performance is spot on. Some people just hate but dont know the background.
Exactly 👍
My grandpa was from Baton Rouge. Couldn't understand a WORD 😂
I live in Louisiana, and I have encountered a lot of Cajuns in my 12 years of living here. The accent is spot on. I actually saw two men (father and son), talking in Cajun, and a hotel employee was chatting with them in Cajun, and they sounded just like Channing does in here.
I think it was great they got Blade for the “Farewell to Fox Marvel” movie considering the first movie literally saved Marvel.
The beat drop on blade entrance is sick. That is one badass entrance rite there..
"I am overwhelmed. My scalp is on fire."
EXACTLY.
I am so happy that i managed not to spoil myself on anything before seeing this movie
You’re lucky. I got spoiled by a frickin WatchMojo short that literally started by revealing Blade’s appearance in the movie. A couple days before I was due to watch it. Still screamed in the theater though.
Lucky. I got spoiled about blade and chris evans. Luckily ppl just mentioned it, i didn't see anything till i saw the movie.
didnt spoil yourself but after seeing it im sure you soiled yourself
Only had Chris Evan’s appearance spoiled, not who he’d play. Everything else was completely blind and I’m so happy for it.
Same, I shut everything off for a month before I could watch it
Seeing people confused with Gambit's accent always gets me. Like it's was a very good Cajun accent.
It's funny how everybody talks crap about gambit's accent in this movie. It's actually one of the most realistic accents in any media. at 8:15 I laughed so hard. "is that a ninja turtle?"
People have to remember Gambit is from Louisiana. So he's got that french cajun accent
Because I'm such a fan I'm already writing a small story about his Origins. Because let's face it. No movie mirrors the comics.

just admit it..Blade just nailed it man🔥most badass entrance in the movie
i love how so many of these are
"woah blade that's so cool ,he looks grea...... IS THAT CHANNING TATUM "
Blade laid the foundation to the marvel movies
Who else skipped the "the homies" part when she said wonder woman 😂
Blade is the goat 🐐 his entrance was 💯 bada**
For the young people that do not recognize Gambits accent, its Cajun French, the Bayou area of Southern Louisiana.
Also I noticed no one said anything about DeadPool almost calling Electra, Wonder Woman.
Atleast 2 people mentioned it.
Blade's entrance n Channing finally being the Gambit was such a sweet moment in this movie. What a great fkn movie
"They didn't even make that movie!" is my favorite line 🤣
I love how everyone is excited about Electra, then they say "I've never seen her movie" 😂😂
It’s funny how everyone thinks that Ryan and Wesley hate each other. I saw an interview with both of them that said that they never hated each other and just played it up for the movie. It made Blades appearance all the more shocking. That’s why they throw out the line about him hating Deadpool and he says you never did.
15:50 got me rolling. The girl that said who very loudly 😂
She didnt know ANYONE
People not realising that the "beef" between Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes was a prank they played on everyone is sending me 😁
I know Deadpool wanted Magneto but Deadpool, Wolverine, Elektra, Blade, Gambit and X-23 all in their prime is a very formidable fighting force.
When Blade learned that Wesley Snipes was returning, he canceled all his vampire hunts.
8:16 is it a Ninja turtle😭😭😭😭
🤣😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I fucking died. Like has no one seen Elektra? I get it wasn’t great but it wasn’t exactly bad either😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Boys: Oh my God is that Blade!? Channing Tatum!?
Girls: Wonder Woman?
Me and my mom watched this movie at home, the amount of hollering we did!! I was mostly shocked to see Blade and channing freaking tatum as gambit?!?!?
EVERYBODY knows Blade. That’s how badass he is. Imagine he got included in the mcu and got his own series. Maybe meet up with morbius and hunt some vamps!

I was the most excited when I saw Blade.
The amount of people that havent seen elecktra is very very poor
I remember watching it in Elementary on a school trip
Not seeing Elektra is Ok, but not seeing Daredevil is not cool!
everyone basically ogazzed over blade
They’re still cleaning Seat E5. 😊
Preview'd had the best reaction as close to mines in theaters!! the crowd went WILD after seeing Blade. it was so epic!
I love how many reactors knew about CT’s attempt to make a Gambit movie…hopefully it gets green lit after this.
You’re telling me none of these UA-camrs saw this movie in theaters?
I know a good amount of these channels have already seen the majority of the movies they react to. You can see it in their body language and face.

MJWITHOUTSPIDERMAN gave herself away, without realizing it. She's clearly seen the movie already.
I think Gambit sounds more Creole French than Cajun. Cajun has a slower southern drawl. Like that guy that had the cooking show and would say "I GuaRONtee". He was Cajun.
24:18. She's like 'no' as if she's part of the conversation hahaaa
When I tell you I almost ran outta the theater when I saw Blade….. 😮
Say what you want, but no one can compare to Wesley's entrance... Blade is the OG badass.
Blade!! !! Get the movie done already!! We all want to see it!!
Did that one women really say wonder woman 😂😂
Can't tell you how much the guy at 8:26 calling Elektra an obscure character annoyed me. 😠
People don’t remember Elektra was first in 2003’s Daredevil?
When I heard @funnylilgal didn't like Channing Tatum I was like wwhhaatty til she heard the accent and changed her mind lmao
I don’t understand how all of these “reactors” were able to avoid all of this on social media cause the minute the movie came out all of this was on every damn feed clips photos everything
Wish it was rogue in her suit instead of elektra
14:50 you've got to be kidding me, did they just say Wonder Woman? For crying out loud it's Elektra. Get your s*** together
So none of these people went to watch it in theaters?? Reactments for UA-cam..
@3:40- Shaco
Am I supposed to believe you did not know about this and this is espontaneous?
The Homies 😒😒😒😒😒
I highly doubt that these were 1st time reactions. All of them are too big of marvel fans to not have seen it first at the bigscreen. Besides, there were too many spoilers about Blade like a week after it hit cinemas.
I can't tell what his accent is?!?!!?!??!!?!?!?!?!!!;¡
He's from Louisiana. You can't figure it out. It's Cajun French. Hello maybe you should travel more
2:20 please marry me
14:40 Pls don't react without any knowlegde. Thx.
20:05.... Girl bye with your hate! Foh....
Just a fact
Blade looks so skinny
Well he is in his 60s now. Not exactly the late 30s he was in the original Blade
all these reactions are fake because one there acting sucks...and this movie was way too of big movie for these popular UA-camrs not to see this day 1 or a early screening in the theater not months later on a monitor
It's unfortunate when you realize all of these reactions are fake because if they really care this much they would have watched the movie in theaters.
If they watch the movie in a theatre, they don't get to make a reaction video.
They literally make money off not seeing the movies in theaters. I know lots of people that like the movies and don't go to theaters for a variety of reasons. i guess you get to dictate what a real fan is though and how they have to see the movies......
Some of these were god awful. Fake as fuck!
How did none of these UA-camrs watch this on opening weekend???? Fake fans
Why? They make money reacting to movies; it actually pays them to not go to the theater for a lot of these. Also, I didn't see it opening weekend, does that make me a fake fan? Pretty presumptuous of you dontcha think?
A lot of people don't go on opening weekend
Always overreacting
How are all these people super fans but didn't see this in theaters these are such fake reactions
Then don't watch them.....
