Marnie you look absolutely beautiful in this vid. Your makeup is so flattering and glowly. Your hair locks lovely and the sweater really suits you. 💕⭐xox
What awesome different ideas you shared ! I can tell you really worked hard in this . Also want to say how sweet and pretty I think you are and I love your hair how you are wearing it today .
These are awesome ideas! I bought two of the plush blankets and they are so soft! Also really loving your makeup and hair style combo today, very pretty!! ❤️
Such a great list, I love your ideas. I bought and received your idea on the lighted mirror, I already bought that beautiful throw blanket for a gift and the Erin Condren hardbound monogramed notebook! So keep the ideas coming!
I loved them so much I've taken a bath almost every night! I just ordered them for a friend of mine who is really stressed right now. I think she will LOVE them! Thank you so much for thinking of me, you sweet man!!
Hi, thanks again for a wonderful video. I started giving a statement wine glass as a hostess gift The wine glass usually as some bling on it. That way the hostess knows which glass is hers at all times. I believe I saw this idea on Pinterest last year.
Amazing selection! Thank you! I recommend a nespresso machine! Just gifted myself that and am so excited! And yes first purchase through Bloomingdales and was so impressed. Ordered Saturday and arrived Monday!!! Great service!
Marnie, hands down, this is the best gift idea list that I have seen all season on u tube ! Everything is attractive and practical. Happy holidays to you and your family !!
Both you and Jen Ross (Pretty Neat Living) Are recommending that Kennebunk throw & said it was on sale for $29. But when I went to my Nordstrom app it was listed at the $39 price and even when I used your link through rstyle me it was listed at $39. I wonder if it was like a one or two day only price reduction?? That would be too bad I was just about to grab a couple as gifts.
Hi Marnie, So many lovely gift suggestions! A rain storm is on it's way to Northern CA and I feel so cold right now so that Kennebunk Throw sounds wonderful! This is off subject, but I was watching the Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda and they had a woman on named Danielle Walker who wrote a cookbook called "Eat What You Love". She was making some of her recipes on the show. They are dairy free and gluten free (Paleo friendly) so I thought of you having to eliminate the gluten and also for your son. This may be a nice cookbook for you. Just wanted to tell you about it in case it may be fun and helpful for you. Thanks for posting all these great gift ideas! Enjoy your day! xo, Karen
Great gift suggestions, thank you. Also want to say, you look AMAZING! I don’t know if your hair is different, your makeup is different or if it’s simply joy radiating from you, but you look beautiful 💜💐
Fantastic suggestions!!! And yes, I might even get a few for myself.....I’m a GAW!!! Love watching you and all the boys in your life!! Happy Hanukkah!! ❤️ from Baltimore
Girl you’re saving me. Shopping for friends christmases and a bday! I think I’ll get them all plush throws. I got 2 for moms christmases and they’re so soft. Those yeti lowballs and mug!!😍 I got a mudpie butter dish today! Beautiful!! Ok shopping your links. Thank you so much marnie! 😘😘😘
Something different (but good) about your makeup today - really lovely! Great suggestions, but as usual, I want so many of the for myself! Love the bottle with the matches - think I can get that, right?
After 15 years in retail and no longer having small kids in the fam, we gave up gift giving several years ago. We make the holidays all about being together as a family. As adults we have our own incomes and can buy things we really want for ourselves. It seemed so wasteful and pointless to buy gifts for each other hoping it was something they wanted. When I proposed only doing gifts for the kids all the adults were down! I was in HR Management and Loss Prevention Management over my 15 years, so Xmas in retail meant firing the holiday hires that were stealing when I was HR and then arresting the shoplifters and employees that were stealing. Wasn’t really giving me the holiday spirit year after year. And the moment Macy’s decides to be open on Thanksgiving and I had to work and tell my team they had to leave their families to come to work, I gave up decorating for the holidays. I’ve now been out of that industry for a couple years and hoping maybe I’ll get back into decorating for the holidays but I’m still thrilled we don’t do gifts in our fam. It’s just about us being together and making it about family time ❤️
Agree with you 100%. I am so over shopping for gifts. It seems a liitle obscene all the crap we have now. Nobody I know needs anything. I would just rather spend time with friends and family.
Lina Adams exactly! My family was all on board with this. What a weight we lifted off one another by doing this. I truly love giving gifts but Christmas was just getting out of control and it just wasn’t what we wanted to be the focus. I really despise White Elephant gift exchanges because that is really just getting something you don’t know what to do with after it’s over. It’s just stuff. None of us need more STUFF to add to our lives. How about we all just get together and enjoy our company and some good food and drink? That’s just as fun and far more meaningful. My sons are now 21 and 23 and live at home so I give them money this time of year because they are in school and still not on their own with full time careers. So it’s something they can use. But that’s all my husband and I do aside from supporting a few key charities that we want to support. I used to take my boys shopping when they were little to buy a toy to then go donate to the fire dept for them to deliver to those less fortunate. Now I help my young men find a charity they can do something for to keep that spirit alive. I wish more people thought less of themselves and helped more for those who really needed it. That would truly be amazing. America is just so focused on more more more.
Thanks for this video Marnie I really enjoyed it a lot a great ideas for gift giving and I also wanted to say you look very very pretty today I love your make up I love your hair you just looking very very beautiful happy Hanukkah
Hi Marnie, great suggestions! I do own that Anthro blanket scarf and love it. I just ordered the throw after seeing you and Christopher A. talk about it. I am going to take you up on the Trapp vs Nest candle challenge. I love Nest candles, except for the price, so will give Trapp a try. Also, your make up and especially your blush is very pretty today.
Love you Marnie!! Great gifts or just for myself. 🤣🤣 Would love a tutorial on what is on your face. I just turned 52 yesterday and have dry, aging skin and your skin looks glowy and amazing. Happy Happy Hanukkah. 🎁🎁🎀🎀🥂🥂💋💋🍬🍬🍭🍭🍫🍫🕎🕎
Do you do Santa Claus and stockings? I don’t think of it as especially Christian and it is such a consumer thing for retailers. At least I don’t feel like it’s part of the Christian celebration. Please know I don’t mean any offense, I have just wondered.
I know you don't mean any offense, so none is taken. While it certainly has become quite commercial, all those traditions are in fact traditions based solely on the celebration of Christmas. Michael and I both felt like to do those things with our kids was doing two things we didn't agree with. One, that we were basically telling our kids that our own traditions weren't good enough and two, it's disrespectful to our Christian friends to borrow from their celebration while ignoring the religious ramifications. I hope that explanation doesn't offend anyone, it's just how we feel about how we want to celebrate in our home.
Marnie Goldberg Thank you Marnie. I often think of traditions like these and we add things all the time as just an excuse to buy more presents. I admire you and Michael for keeping your traditions and teaching your children to respect your beliefs. Thanks again, I enjoy learning things like this and UA-cam has become a good resource.
I would advise against mentioning a sales tax advantage because most (if not all) states require a person to self-report the non-collected sales tax on their state I income tax return. You don’t want to sound like you are promoting getting away with something.
@@MsGoldgirl And also not true for all states, Illinois just ended that practice, we now pay tax even if store is not physically in state, Oct 1 after the Supreme Court ruling South Dakota v. Wayfair.
@@MsGoldgirl Dont blame you, especially since its a high of 29 degrees today! We are a little warmer here in Central Il. Tell your husband I said Hi again from a fellow attorney ( I did once in IG live).
@@MsGoldgirl Yes, I live in Idaho, where is no Nordstrom :( and there is always sales tax on anything I buy, either online or through a store in another state.
