You should download a mod that removes the screaming when you’re charging with the axe, also you should try mounting your LMG more for better accuracy and to save more ammo
The reason you can't upgrade the machine gunner to level 5 is because you haven't unlocked the 5-Star Personnel upgrade in the Machine Gunner II squad
I was looking at the wrong squad, indeed I have not.. but there is associated bug with this too, even when you have the upgrades.
I hate how MGs are much more effective in semi auto than automatic due to high ass spread and rifle damage, mg13 is basically a br2 semi auto stg

Why for the first one? If your going for stealth that wont work there is an easy way to make charging quiet
