I like how he coughed when getting excited over nurgle
Papa Nurgle was so pleased by Sotek’s enthusiastic response to the reveal that he sent him a small gift. Nurgle is such a generous god.
I like how at first N'Kari seems to be reaching out a helping hand, but at the last moment, reflected in the Advisor's eye, you see that hand twist into a grabbing motion.
what a great day, woke up to my Birthday and saw the Nurgle faction reveal in my feed. What a great gift from Grandpa Nurgle .
Happy birthday king!
Happy birthday my friend :)
Happy birthday mate
He's a good guy.. just misunderstood
@@CharliMorganMusic Hope Papa sent you some delicious Toads already haha
happy birthday bro
Holy crap that look of “holy crap what have I gotten myself into” the advisor has at the end is awesome
TFW he realizes it is probably butt stuff.
The demons call the advisor the Exiled One. Could that title technically be applied to Be'lakor himself?
They just call him Exile don't they?
I think the Advisor, may be Be'Lakor.
@@traviskinderman2103 Be'lakor probably wouldn't have let someone like Sarthorael push him around no matter how weakened he was.
Maybe Be'lakor is pulling the strings on the advisor
@@TheHandofDestiny probably
The real question is whether the "pact with the architect" is referring to the advisors pact with Tzeentch, or referring to a pact between Tzeentch and Slaanesh. It can be taken either way.
The tome is the book from the Warhammer 1 trailer presumably, cool to see such a through line.
Tzeentch is called the Architect of Fate
When Architect was mentioned, it was immediately followed by "Fate is fickle" so this is a clear mention of Tzeentch
@@magnus7153 Obviously, what point are you trying to make because both options I gave included Tzeentch ....
@@DoddyIshamel Or do they
@@DoddyIshamel it is most likely that the advisor has a pact with Tzeentch.
Any time I lose hype or start feeling negative concerning this game, all I have to do is find a Loremaster reveal video, and I am a kid again. Thank you for the positivity, and I am so excited for this game!
This was my most anticipated video of the day! Love your reactions man.
PAPA NURGLE HIMSELF FINALLY APPEARS! Nurgle looks better than i ever could have hoped, that animation with the nurglings flinging around the poor marauder is just A+ work. Plague toads are a welcome surprise and I can not wait to see the full roster in all of its pestilent glory. I was considering Cathay or maybe Ogre Kingdoms for my first play through but now I'm 100% locked into Nurgle. Kugath and I have a perfect disease to concoct after all. Slaanesh isn't looking to shabby either and N'kari is very sleek. My biggest hope for Nurgle is a cauldron of plagues kind of like Grom's, where you mix together a bunch of different ingredients to create unique pestilences you can imbue onto your army or enemy armies, providing buffs and debuffs respectively. TWW3 is shaping up be my favorite game of all time and I can't wait.
GLORY TO THE ROTFATHER!
So delightfully putrid it will be!
I would love if the plagues of Ku'Gath acted similarly to the influence of the high elves, but causing faction-wide effects, like attrition, growth and public order debuffs etc...
Or that its simular to Groms Couldron so you can make your own deceases
@@carlchristianlindalen9311 ogre kingdoms are a shoe in for future play throughs but the dark God's are ever more enticing. I can't wait to see how thy fleshed out plague barers and all the other servants of the grandfather.
@@TheShivras you have your own cauldron and can indeed make your own plagues.
Advisor, trying to seek the truth of the world but Nurgle being the good papa himself warned him not to do it. they even interrupted the deal between them two to save the advisor.
Papa Nurgle the good faction confirmed.
Or he hates tzeentch
@@charlottewalnut3118 Nurgle hate both tzeentch and slanesh soo
Been waiting for Sotek's video on this
Same
Ahh, the Nurgle reveal dropped while Nurgle grants me one of his blessings in the form of a flu infection.
Also, I liked the little touch of having the advisor kneel right next to the statue in the same pose.
Idk why, but the TW Warhammer advisor is one of my favorite game characters. The whole thing with him pitting all the factions against each other in previous games is such a cool idea, and I'm so glad we're getting to see more!
According to steam post, Nurgle's buildings are cyclical, they will "die" after some period. Furthermore, you can recruit units with reduced strength. I hope that today's FAQ about Nurgle faction's mechanics will explain this with more details.
It’s safe to say, that we know who Sotek’s first campaign is going to be now. Papa Nurgle will be very pleased!
some people in high school would look at this guy and think ''what a nerd''.
I look at him and i see a nerdgasming hero amongst this great community! :)
I remember Nathan from great book of gudges suggested that the hooded statue might be a representation of Bel'akor.
My question, even before considering that, is "why are the northlanders and daemonettes bowing to the hooded thing?"
Sotek, your reactions are priceless. I love it. It's joy to see you react
Your reaction videos are always my favorite because your excitement is so contagious. Like a happy little nurgling.
So how do we convince the people that make these to make a full 2 hour movie?
All other factions are merely playing their parts... Nurgle is the march of time itself... Nothing, not even all the other Gods and mortals combined can do anything to stave off what is immutable, unstoppable, and inevitable.
Nurgle has already won the game, it is merely up to everyone else to read that far into the story.
The way I see it. We will either get Be’lakor or Nagash as the final legendary lord. I am personally leaning towards Be’lakor the first son of chaos. Though I am not ruling out that curve ball
what about boris?
We have those Slannesh marauders in AoS, they’re not spears, they are claws that they grew, the ones we have are called hellstriders with claw-spears. They might be oof fantasy sculpts tho, idk if they were ever on foot
They were Fantasy sculpts but they were never on foot
Something I really like about the trailer is that it can be seen that we are seeing the three chaos gods fighting in the realm of chaos for the advisor. Like Nurgle and Slaanesh are shown fighting each other and the book is lighting up to grab the advisors attention because Tzeentch is more subtle. The ruin of Slaanesh and the symbol of Nurgle gave way for the symbolism that the advisor is intrigued by the other gods but he is making a pact with Tzeentch and the other gods are trying to stop him and convince him to come to them. That is what makes it the best trailer of TWW3 for me. Countless daemons of the gods fighting for one mortal (even if the advisor goes on to be a big threat and play with every faction.)!
Imagine the feeling knowing that all 3 of some of the most powerful beings in the wh40k universe WANT you so badly that they will send their own legions of Daemons to fight anyone who would try to claim you for themselves. The sheer thought of knowing how important you know you are to any of those gods is enough to to make you go insane xD
But who would YOU join, my friend? Big Papa Nurgle? or maybe Popkhorne? Slaanesh doesn't sound too bad either tho I don't quite relish the fact that I would be forced to go through intimate acts on a daily basis O___O I'm personally a huge fan of Papa Nurgle since there's something much more welcoming than any of the other gods.
@@tomasskala4405 You see, from worst to best, in my opinion:
-Slaneesh may give you the highest of highs for a time, but when you are no more use to the prince of pleasure or you fail him, you will face an eternity of torment and more as the lowest of
lows feeds them just as much, not even dying will save you as he has a hold of your soul even after death
-Tzeentch does not care for you in any way, he is the lord of change and he will both plot for your success and failure, eventually him backstabbing you for the sake of change will be your doom, not only that, but since change is his domain he has a thing for mutating people, and one too many mutations can turn you into a Chaos Spawn.
-Khorne is simple, he will give you battle, if you like to fight you will do well, but you are certainly gonna die soon with your life revolving around violence or will live enough to probably give into the rage befitting of the blood god, turning into a rabid animal more than a warrior.
-Being infected by Nurgle is painful, it's probably one of the worst things that can happen at first, but Nurgle does care for all of us for we all die and rot in the end. Once you start worshipping him, the pain will go away and you will learn to love the gifts that Nurgle brings to you, just the pain though, many of them end up dying from them as well, but I suppose he'll treat your soul well once he got a hold of it.
@@versok2999 so its a "Pick your Poison" kind of situation but each one will screw you over in a completely different way and end in the exact same way - Hippity Hoppity Your Soul is My Property xD
I guess it really depends on the kind of person you are. like wrestlers/boxers would likely serve Khorne, Naughty Pub Employees would likely serve Slaanesh, Trained Spies would likely turn to Tzeentch and... I actually don't know what kind of Person would generally accept Nurgle's gifts.... hmmm....
@@tomasskala4405 Nurgle is usually affected by people that are being killed by illness anyways and fear death
The prince of Infinite delights awaits thee....come and join the great N'kari
Insatiable lust and perfection are just at your finger tips😈
Nakari the one tiddie.
I'm so excited to play Slaanesh those lawnmower chariots look incredible
The early adventures of the advisor. Man that guy had some tales to tell.
Low-key I’d love a warhammer fantasy comic covering the adventures of the advisor. Having books focus on different interactions with legendary characters
The advisor does look younger than in the game(s) and doesen't seem to be blind (yet?) so I'd assume it's set "before".
The advisor is looking like 20 years younger. So either some warp time rift shenanigans going on, or this is before the first two games
Next day of christmas Nurgle papa gave to me a brand new plague drone
Well I wouldn't mind if CA would add to chaos rosters AoS units, even if i don't like Slaanesh i have to admit that latest models that he/she received are so freaking great and neat.
6:30 I don't think there is any resurrection going on. In Warhammer 1 video he was an old man so you see how he ends. Warhammer 3 story is you see where he went when he was younger.
ok deep dive but i think the book that the advisor is carrying with him is the same book shown with him in the very early teaser pictures with the telescope looking at the stars in the empire. I swear its the same markings
Bro you are right why has no one noticed
Pretty sure it's rhe book from the WH1 trailer too.
@@DoddyIshamel wasn't it significantly bigger in WH1?
@@RubInWax Hmm maybe yes
Glad I made it in time. Who else called it that it would be Nurgle vs Slaanesh?
Stupid nurgle stopping that man for making the best deal in his life with slaanesh
The Fiends of Slaanesh look so good! I always thought they were the jankiest looking unit in warhammer, but the way they made them scuttle at high speed real close to the ground looks awesome. So creepy!
I love the nurgling mechs you can see in the background of the scene where the marauder is being covered in them.
I love watching you react to these trailers. Your enthusiasm is.......
Infectious
I'm plagued with laughter
Ku'Gath is conversing with the advisor, not N'kari.
N'kari is converses with Advisor at the very end when he stretches out his hand and the advisor considers it right before closing the book mirroring how he was about to pull put the Tzeentch book at the cauldron earlier but pulled back and picked up the glyph of nurgle instead.
So yeah, The Advisor being the last Legendary lord.
peak male fantasy right here
I am (pleasantly) surprised they gave Nurgle nurglings. I know they are Iconic to the faction but up till now CA has not added in any swarm type units from tabletop or at least as far as I know.
Little huggies for everyone!
Snotling pump wagons for the win XD
i love all your live reaction videos :D i smile throughout the video and get smitten by your joy and enthusiasm :) ty so much, Sotek ! :)
I've been waiting for this video! Love your reactions to these videos haha, and I agree, this was the best trailer so far. The story with the Advisor, the music, the reveals of both Ku'gath and N'kari, the incredible Nurglings, the insane speed of N'kari... all of it is so hype, and I can't wait to see more about their mechanics and rosters
I just realized the music you use at the end of your videos is parth of the Gothic soundtrack 😱😱 how cool are you??!!
Is it really? I've thought it sounded a lot like KaiRo's stuff but gothic is so very unknown in the english speaking parts I had doubts
talks about kugath, starts coughing. well done
Really like all the Nurgle stuff , only fings I hope more guts and gore for Nurgle maybe whit blood for the blood god dlc
Sotek. The "Huge spears" are their arms. The Marauders are dismounted Hellstriders. You see mounted once in the "Big army" shot which you took as Marauders of Slaanesh.
21:52 I’m so glad you noticed that cause “the great book of grudges” and “cookiesandmilkTW” didn’t notice , I do love nurgling and I can’t wait to them on the battlefield
Wasn't expecting Papa Nurgel to be the good guy in the trailer
Sotek was just waiting for Nurgle this entire time
Big booty Daemonettes coming to dominate the mortals 😏
I only just noticed. The advisor looked 10-20 years older at the end of the clip compared to at the start.
I don't like N'kari's voice, I would imagine a voice more sensual and androgynous. That deep deformed voice would fit more a Khorne champion ^^'
That one took a lot of work. Glad you liked it!
I believe the first voice leading him to the ruins is Belakor. Then comes Kugath when he stands in front of the statue (which is a statue of the dark master i believe). The last then is obviously Nkari.
Nurgle saving the advisor reminds me of the time he sent Kugath against Kairos to save Mousilon.
@ 19:20 Model looks amazing, I like the blending of Age of Sigmar and Fantasy like Slaanesh Legendary Lord N'Kari.
It'd be interesting if he was resurrected. Personally, I thought it was showing his journey in proving himself to Tzeentch and the inevitable temptation that comes from the other Gods jealously trying to tempt them away from their patron.
I do believe the trailer shows the past.
Well *Pushes glasses up* N'Kari did not fight Aenarion 1 on 1, Aenarion 1 on 4'd the chaos Greater daemons of each kind, absolutely stomped each one, but each one did their own injuries on him, I am (Not entirely) Sure, each daemon injured him to some extent, where Aenarion ended up dying from his wounds, he slew 4 greater daemons, but he did pay the price for it, however he "Arguably." did save Ulthuan with is sacrifice.
Sorry XD
The advisor is much younger here. I think It's the advisor's "origin story". Those events happened BEFORE Wharhammer I and his demise w/ Sarthorael. But then, everything is possible with Chaos...
Throwing my 5cents here: all of warhammer3 will take place BEFORE warhammer1, and what we are seeing here is a still "young" advisor roaming around in search of something after "not getting it" from tzeench since i think that book is the same we see in the first trailer from warhammer1.
So (in theory) all will take place during the timeline of the upcoming WarhammerFantasy Old Wold; it would give to opportunity to CA to implement new lords/heroes for the existing factions and to GW the opportunity to sponsor their new setting.
Bro, the Total War Official Discord went crazy when this trailer came out😂
I think those new Marauder “spearmen” are dudes whose right hands and elbows have extended into gigantic bone spikes. This is something I was hoping for with Tzeentch’s Forsaken; big sword arms like Alex from Prototype. Would make sense, seeing as how his magic is all about change. It would also be a cool callback to one of the Chaos classes from Warhammer Online. We saw one fighting the High Elf ranger in the awesome trailer cinematic.
The first thing that came to my mind was upcoming Sotek’s reaction to the video! Thanks for uploading!
I just noticed something...
The Advisor was holding his hand, alongside N'Kari, so I'm guessing the pact was indeed made in the end...?.
I figured something completely different from you.
I figured that the tomb of the architect was the pack the advisor uses as a pack with every faction YOU as the player plays in a campaign. When the daemoness says " Fate is fickle" i figured that ment that the the tomb is a way for the advisor to create an pact of "fate" (a campaign) with whomever you the player choose to play.
An all together alternative timeline where for example Nurgle can win it all. Something that could never happen in the actual lore. You the player is a crucial piece in the campaign happening the way that it does. You tailor your own lore. Anything that happens in one campaign is its own pact, its own timeline and therefor has its own fate.
Everything that happens happens for the first and only time everytime you form a new pact because everything you do changes the fate of the campaign. So in this trailer all the chaos gods are fighting for the role of being the one you ultimately choose to play and "If fate allows, ie don´t lose" wins the great game once and for all!
You as the player is the "Architect of Fate" and you are the author of the story the tale in the tomb represent. You´re the narrative.
I dunno if i´m making myself clear, it´s a pretty crazy theory perhaps.
So two things that stand out to me. First the advisor in this trailer has two medallions in metal. He has one that is clearly the typical Iron Cross and he has one that looks to be sort of elven? In the Tzeentch cinematic from the first game he has two as well but one one different. One is the Iron Cross but the other one looks clearly dwarven in the trailer. No idea if it means anything but it might be worth pointing out.
Secondly am I seeing things or in the end of the trailer during the splash screen (that is clearly showing Nurgle stuff) isn't there a Glottkin on the left as well as some sort of mortal? Looks almost like a flagellant. On the right there's a guy I don't recognize at all. It looks kinda buff and has huge horns.
I am SOOOO convinced that the astartes guy worked on this trailer. Everything is in tye same style: pacing, dialog, sound design
Using Tamurkhan is great news for my hope of Elspeth von Draken. Chaos Dwarfs too. So much goodies to come.
So at 950 is that statues all the other statues worshipping a representation of belakor?
Me thinks they are fighting over the adviser maybe he is the reincarnation of belacor. Nurgle says we embrace you with open arms. While slaanesh says every pact basically has a price. And they are fighting over his choice the daemon prince. If it is him reincarnated.
Looks like based on the words of Kurgath and Nkari, the adviser seems to be the exiled Belakor "trapped " in flesh.
Soo if the advisor is ressurected and there is still a world to love in, that we cna say TWW1 is like a Storm of Chaos?
We have defeated chaos (for now) and now ot tries again. And here we will have the finał showdown- either it wins or we destroy it in the realms of chaos themself
17:48 Nurgle appreciates your excitement and sends his gifts!
I have mostly no clue, but your happiness makes up for my missing knowledge!
Why can Kugath get carried by nurglings but Greasus not by hobgoblins? Too jiggly?
17:49 a bloatfly went into Loremasters throat, coincidence? I think not :> Let the corruption commence!
im %100 positive they chose the AOS keeper of secrets model sole due to it having only one or two boobs that are both covered also due to it having a shield
I hope you put a diaper on before you watched this cos you sounded like you filled it. :) can't blame you tho
I actually think the Advisor would also be a nice 9th LL instead of Be'lakor
uum was it the tzeench chancer of ways and nothing was set in stone you can chance it. little new of warhammer fantasy but little thinker what if tzeench has seen it to his plan to succeed and now its just gonna put in place but never happens because of nurgle.
Can you blame the Advisor though? Who can say no to Granpappy Nurgle.
Day1 experiment if possible nurglings v squigs and laugh at all the animations.
14:31 - AH YO! Jabba the Hutt confirmed?! On the right!
Deciding between Ogres and Nurgle is gonna be hard
Actually there was two advisors in this universe this one has faith in sigmar and always tries to fight and stop the chaos but the other advisor witch was in both trailer of tw1 kinda lost his faith and god of change uses him for his own goals than kills him at end of warriors of chaos campaign
WH always has killer voice actors. I love that theatrical overacting its just so fitting to have over the top voice actors for an insanely over the top franchise.
I'm wondering to whom the deamonettes statues was like oh my lord , bel'akor maybe???
So the advisor looks younger in this cinematic, does that mean this is technically a prequel to the second game?
“Ogres, my lord”
Of the Slaanesh chariots: I think the one in front is the Hellflayer, and the two behind are Seeker chariots. I think this because the front one has four seekers pulling it and seems to have bigger blades. Also, just based on the general look of them I think those "spears" used by the Marauders might be mutated claws.
The ones with four seekers are Exalted Chariots, not Hellflayers.
The Marauders look like dismounted Hellstriders
Thank you for getting the subtitles cause I couldn't understand anything said in the trailer
The best trailer was the cinematic for ogre kingdoms and cathay reveal you heretic!
This trailer officially put me back on the hype train.
Awesome analysis as always
the joy this trailer brings you just warms my heart.
The trailer songs always the songs, CA what the fuck is wrong with you release them
