What's your baking situation? We only have a camp stove (weekend warriors now), but I think I'll miss having an oven...how often do you bake and how do you like your setup?
The second pantry was initially left blank and was supposed to be replaced with a stove/oven combo. After about a year of living in here full-time, we decided that converting that to a pantry space was more practical for us. We wanted the extra food storage cause we didn’t want to grocery shop every couple of days. We bake often, and I miss having a stationary oven, but I've heard mixed reviews about how they bake evenly, and because we don’t have an AC, we try to only bake in the fall/winter/early spring. But I love making bread! So, our solution is the Coleman collapsible oven. It fits on our stovetop perfectly, and when it’s too hot to bake inside, we can use it outdoors over a fire. It’s harder to maintain temp over a fire, but it’s worked perfectly for our needs in this past year!

Those are so much fun for me to put together!! Soooo… I figured why not try for two different types of videos a week!! We’re shooting for every Wednesday & Sunday! But we’ll see how well I can keep up! 😅
😂😂😂 yes, it was spam! Zach likes to keep a can on hand for desperate times! We also hold lots of other prepper-style items in the van in case 💩 hits the fan 😂😂😂 we’re semi-prepper status up in here, haha! And, only sometimes does stuff in the lower pantry get warm. If I’m cooking soup or using the stovetop oven, I typically pull the bread/ basket that sets on top of the glass jars!! That's the only things that will potentially heat up when using the stovetop for long periods!
Yes! When we lived in our first van back in 2017 we couldn’t stand up in it and did all of our cooking outside as well! I loved it, but after a full year of full-time in it I needed the upgrade!! 🧡 do you think y’all will ever upgrade from yours? -Ally
