The point was if it had been a fluke in the first fight,Amanda could have stick to her approach from the first fight to win easily a rematch.
If you uses a different gameplan in the rematch it is possible that this did the trick and wouldn't if she had used the same style as in the first match(it is possible at least),in this case it wouldn't have been a fluke Pena beat Nunes in their first fight because amanda had to adapt.

That second fight really showed the difference in levels on their striking. Amanda changed her stance and Peña became a deer in headlights. I was really surprised she never adapted

IF June 10 she beats her, of course I will give her credit where credit is due.

Went from getting choked out by GDR, the kickboxer, to begging for a title shot off 1 win over McMann. Fair enough beating Nunes on her absolute worst night and then proceeding to loose 5-0 in the rematch. Now getting a trilogy main event fight when she didn’t even defend her title.
It’s actually crazy when you look at it because from an objective viewpoint, Pena belongs in the middle of the rankings given her actual skill set but BW is such a terrible division these days
It's easy to say that but pena made a slight error in that gdr fight she was on her way to winning and underestimated Germanaines ability to grapple in key positions. That's the only reason gdr won and in a rematch julianna would submit germaine. Book it.

I like it how this kid actually enjoys doing the interviews and the promotion sides of fighting when every female fighter don't do anything to sell the fight and neglects promoting in general. She showed a lot of grit in the rematch and didn't quit, so I think she has a chance in the trilogy.

Amanda was not in trouble the entire rematch Pena is so full of crap talking about "her" belt and how she chose to rematch Amanda lol. Let me try and understand Pena logic, beats Amanda once who has defended multiple times and now I choose who I fight, but I chose Amanda like UFC wouldnt strip her if she didnt agree to rematch with Amanda. Amanda gets her belt back and Pena is now saying the UFC is forcing Amanda to fight her or be stripped. Next we will hear Pena saying she is the goat of WMMA. Toward the end when she is saying Amanda should just retire she sounds so disrespectful I can't stand listening to her.
