I drive Nexon petrol 2021, I faced the same issue which you pointed out. Initially I felt very bad about vibrations and clutch modulation but now I got used to it. Except that, it's a very good car if you can ignore those issues. But again, clutch modulation matters a lot for drive experience which TATA couldn't deliver in all these years.
Only thing I don’t like about my 2022 Nexon AMT is jerkiness/power lag in lower gears when AC is running.
City drive in summer becomes very frustrating.

@@paarthmanhas That is the reason I choose manual gearbox. But manual comes with different issues altogether🤣
Like clutch modulation and heavy engine vibrations if clutch not released properly and slowly, but you will get used to it as always. Once you get past these small niggles, TATA cars will server you very well along with mileage and safety. My Nexon manual petrol gives me 18 to 20 on highway and I drive light foot.

I comment in almost all videos, Altroz with it's Diesel engine producing 90 bhp and 200 nm torque is the best engine for Altroz, also the clutch in Diesel Altroz js very nice as soon as you lift up from the clutch the car immediately gets going, in traffic you'll absolutely won't need to use accelerator even on slope it easily goes up only with letting off clutch that too with AC on 🔥

the issue that you are talking about initial pickup is not an engine issue at all
Its the drive by wire throttle lag. All BS6 cars have it. Add a throttle controller to fix most of that issue

bhai most points you mentioned as problems are actually made for sporting experience like stiff suspension, strong sound in cabin of exhaust and engine etc.

19:04 initial pickup issue is there in Natural Petrol also.. but once you cross 60km/h you will get a good power.. Clutch modulation can be done by service centre, it's not an issue..

Never saw anything contradicting it's own theme as the tachometer of this vehicle. If they really thought of cost cutting on basic practicality features like 60-40 rear split seats and made the tachometer analog it would really create the enthusiasm to buy this car at this price point.

Despite the turbo lag, it is a good car in stop-and-go traffic. Proper Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde wala feel hai. Sober for most parts, but turns into a beast when needed.

Go with Brezza base variant. It is under 10 lakhs. Engine is good.

This clutch issue that you are referring (especially when moving the car from a standstill) is there even in the NA petrol engine. Its an issue with their tuning i guess

I don’t understand why people will go with altroz when you get mahindra xuv 3xo AX5 MT in 10.69 lakh exshowroom price. We all know there is no match of 3xo engine. Almost everything is better in 3xo. Taking hatchback on this price is utter foolishness

@@RajeshSingh-rt4rx altroz has lots of features but they are not reliable like other tata cars. Nline is stiffer that's why it's more stable at high speed & more connected to ground. Yes altroz is 5 star rated, but i20 is well engineered over all. Hyundai is making performance N series cars in international market since long & it has more experience in it. On the other hand altroz racer is tata's first hot(luke warm) hatch...

I think in altroz all variants including dark and racer editions, hill assist is not offered.
I would buy if Altroz comes with 1.5 diesel in Nexon tune and 6 MT.
I'm not facing any issue with the clutch you are referring.. I own normal Altroz, may be it's just the tuning issue.. I feel smooth gear shifts..

The thing he said about the clutch is real, it's a hydraulic clutch which is soo light but the bit is at the end while releasing which makes the car jump every time you shift 😂

tata altroz is not gonna sell in those numbers as already normal altroz sells less and already i20 nline doesnt sell in great numbers and altroz being tata car always brings fear of service and issues

All tata cars are trash once you buy a tata car next day you find major issues like gearbox comes out of its place,seats support is broken,AC switches are broken, engine oil leakage, infotainment and MID blank, cheap wipers,brakes are very bad, 0% stability, AC cooling issue,power steering issue,headlight and tailamps comes out from their places,exhaust throws black smoke with fluid,drive mode selector get broken, bonnet crashes on windshield,Power window switches easily breaks in 2 pieces,Clutch plates broke from its place,glove box cover comes out of its play, roof lamp gets out of its place, roof cover is cheap and so on

Features dalo ya na dalo but clutch gear to aisi cheez hai jo sabse jyada istemaal hota hai so it has to be highly refined.
Altroz racer is my favourite car and maruti suzuki should launch baleno racer with 1.2 ltr petrol turbo engine to compete with this car.
