Thank you for capturing the beauty and history that Languedoc (and Occitanie as a whole) has to offer. For many, Provence and the French Riviera is where you go when you want to see the south of France but Languedoc can rival Provence. Both are beautiful, but Languedoc has always seemed a tiny bit more impressive from a historic perspective. After all, that's where places like Uzès, Carcassonne, Nimes, Montpellier, Béziers, Narbonne and Aigues-Morte--plus many gorgeous natural sites--are located. The coastline of Provence is of course much more impressive. 😉

It is fine to see these streets through your eyes...and to enrich them by recalling my memories of similar places! Pezenas seems to feature a lively retail culture. Its historic center is clean and the buildings are almost all well-maintained from bottom to top!
