Actually, it's not a spawn point. The room on the left is tho. The entities can't kill you due to you being too high up, which breaks their pathfinding.
Im fairly certain this happens because ben's chair is a mesh, the pathfinding sees the mesh as a cube that covers the whole chair while the collision of the mesh is not a cube, this causes the entities not to see you when you're on the chair.

It’s the entire room, it is a spawn point made like that to prevent spawn killing. I believe other spawn rooms are similar.
It's not the entire room it's just near the chairs since there is a hidden spawnpoin near Ben's chair
