I know people didn't like the X/Y games but I loved the theming as well as the soundtrack (the Friends theme hits you right in the feels and the Gym leader and Champion battle themes slap). Can't help but also think of Kalos Route 16 and Laverre City when it comes to a Pokémon Fall with how rustic they are. The big bright orange tree that makes up the Laverre Gym is wonderful, and if the gym's doll house was haunted, it'd be the perfect haunted house And of course, can't forget that our Lord and Savior Bidoof is on the placemat as well! If something has the Bidoof seal of approval, that's when you know it's great
I legit cry every time I rewatch AZ's story, and the music there hits too! If you have the chance, watch the Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions version of both that and the Friends theme, positively stunning.
The place mat is sooo gorgeous and colourful! Always love to see Pikachu come out for a show ~ Ooh can I say, that Gengar pot lid is so cute! Are there any other Pokémon pot lids on sale?

The Pokemon cafe IS super touristy BUT they seem to go hard on the food and experience. I'd love to visit one day! Somehow a Gengar fondue seems to work and the Halloween placemats are so cute! Also are you wearing clip-on earrings? They are very cute! You should go to a piercing parlor in Japan and get your ears pierce for real! >;)

Since the menu said "cassis" (ka-see), I'd think the dessert would be blackcurrant flavor instead of grape, since that's what cassis is. I do find it interesting that they use the French term for the fruit.

The menu is in Japanese by default. I changed it to English so it was easier for me to explain and rattle off what everything was. It’s also in Korean and Mandarin and a few other languages.
The food looks delicious! I wanna try them all out except for the grape-flavored dessert since I don't like grape-flavored things. It looks good though (all of them do).
I feel like I’m gonna have to go twice when I make it to Japan as there will be so much I want to try and 90mins won’t be long enough to eat/drink it all 😂
get both games from the pokemon center as they both come with an art book and are different depending on the version so get both but think i will be at least playing Violet 1st :D
Fun fact! You can tell the gender of a pikachu based on their tail! Lightening bolt shape = male (ash’s pikachu) Heart Shape = Female (like the one dancing in the cafe)!
