I visit the location where Dr Who actor Patrick Troughton meets his end.

The Omen is a very unsettling film with many strange occurrences that happened to many of the cast and crew during filming. One of the most frightening was one of the film crew had a car accident in France and his female passenger was killed and decapitated. We he was cut from the wreakage and regained consciousness he saw a road sign for the village of 'Oman' a few kilometres away. Love all your content Paul, Informative, interesting and conducted with dignity and respect.

My first remembered Dr Who. Boy did those Cybermen scare me. He was a true gentleman. A relative on my in-laws side worked for him and when they married he, naturally, attended. It was noticed that he was missing during the taking of photographs. He didn't want the photographer to recognise him and notify the local press that he was there and therefore ruin the big day. Once he was informed that the photographer was family (my brother) he was more than happy to join in as an ordinary wedding guest. Such consideration.
Thank you Paul...my son is 29 and loves horrors, the more blood and gore the better but this film he won't watch...the music gives him the chills and he says the kid just freaks him out🤣🤣...My husband and I were sat watching it...he walked into the lounge and walked back out 🤣

I remember this film and Patrick Troughton being in it. Found it funny in the scene where the guy gets his head cut off with the pane of glass and his head rolled to his feet. My thought was at least he can smell his own feet don't know why that thought entered my head lol

It's amazing how just capturing a location on film, in mostly popular movies can turn that place or structure into an on going tourist destination, I guess that's the magic of movies.
Which brings to mind also movie props which now fetch thousands in auctions.

hi paul what a fantastic scary film that was l was only 6 and my mum let me watch this pretty scary of a 6 year old wow l never knew it was filmed in fulham that part patrick was awesome playing that part beautiful church inside great episode.

Hi Paul . When you visited Connor in Ripley , you were pretty close to a couple of other ,Omen Locations . Newark Lane , ( in the final chase scene , and the family house at the top of church hill in pyrford . ) And of course , Guildford Cathedral .

When I was a kid, I used to sneak into my Mums room and watch old black n white Dracula films and one of the other early films I watched that way was The Omen! This was a great video, thank you.

Great presentation again Paul . This was a superb film in 1976 very frightening film to watch .
I watched The Omen many years ago; it's a very very good film. A friend at high school had 007 as his candidate number for the exams. Enjoyed this video, a little bit different. Although the scene in the film is just a few seconds long and Patrick Troughton was a superb actor, filming the scene probably took hours.
I remember as a kid watching when William Hartnell changed into Patrick Troughton. I was very upset at the time lol that's how old I am.

Hi just watched your video if you like old churches there is one near me. St. Marys Church Harefield. dating back to 1100. Its still a fantastic church inside. The door is most times always open.The church inside shows you the complete history of the church itself and the surrounding Parish. Outside the Cemetery is full of soldiers who died in all the Wars through the years. Highly recommend a visit, if your passing through. It's easy to find because its the only church in the area and is well signed posted.

I used to live across the bridge from that church, was there many times. I also had my MA graduation in Guildford Cathedral which was also used in the Omen.
I never knew some of the omen was filmed in Fulham I love horror films always have Thankyou for showing those clips ❤

Patrick Troughton played George Jackson in the very first episode of Inspector Morse called The Dead of Jericho. He passed away on a visit to Columbia,Georgia USA. His body was returned to England for his funeral and ashes scattered in Bushy park,Teddington.

I remember the omen wherever Damien was that rottweiler was there and I remember that scene and the lightning hits the spire and it impales him straight through the chest and into the ground

Although I've seen "The Omen" many times over the years, I would love to see it in a Cinema with an audience. (Modern audiences reactions)
The last Feature Film I went to see (the first part of "It") was disappointing, because I was the only person in the Venue, for that showing.
Dudley Castle had an Outdoor Screening of "American Werewolf in London" a little while ago, but it was sold out, before I was aware of the screening.
