That "groundbreaking" Gibbs SR advert seems to me like some poor sod got trapped inside a sound booth and was forced to read the exact blurb from a print ad for said gob wash, word for word. Never mind that the main cleaning agent was essentially a ricin by-product.
And I can't get the Colgate Blue Minty Gel jingle out of my head. I'm going to have to have a Madness triple by-pass.
That's probably how it was done. It's literally the first ever advert, they wouldn't have known what else to do.

I have lost two teeth due to cracking bottles opening with my teeth as a young man in my 20s. One to a cracked tooth, the other to a dental abscess. It wasn't good.
Also, as soeone in Cornwall, what are your thoughts on internet-only TV in the UK? I'd imagie they'd be interesting considering you have objectively worse broadband than Northumberland and ours isn't great.
