I've never been in a lighthouse, but that one looked very cosy with a well stocked bar. Having an Octopus pickled in a 10 year old Glengoyn was a brilliant tip as well - well done. Very enjoyable.
The animation, lighting, sound effects, background music, perfect camera angles absolutley outstanding. For the first time in my life I never skipped a video. Even though it had no dialogues, it was completely clear on what was going on. Just amazing🎉🎉 this channel is criminally underrated! Seriously y'all deserve millions of views and subs. Keep it up!
Very well made very nicely done. Loved the fine label detail on Dewar's White Label scotch whiskey from Scotland. The Titanic cover on The New York Times. Still felt sorry for the octopus since he tried to imprison it as a spectacle.
Lighthouse Keeper: Where did you learn this from!?!? Octopus (while stealing the keeper's whiskey): I learned it from you, okay!? I learned it from watching you!
This was brilliant, the story, the animation, the octopus wanting retribution and getting a gang together 😂 moral of the story I think is - dont cross octopus, they're evil geniuses 🤣
Claymation & stop motion movies are my absolute favorites! Loved everything about this video! Thank you for putting in the professional time to create such beauty.
Wow, wow, wow! Loved every minute. There was drama, humour, suspense. Your attention to detail, the animation and sound shows how clearly think your stories through and the time and effort you put in from storyboarding to animation to post production. Well done my friend.
I know of no Irishman who drinks Whiskey that would lie to his bar chums about the one he was glad got away . LOL !!! Superb short from start to finish 100% FANTASTIC... If that's an Octopus it's one that's been hanging around ole Cthulhu & picked up not just some tricks but a love for good ole Irish Whiskey. Hats off to all you that worked on this as it's a gem !!! You all deserve a a bottle of Jamesons & one of Paddy !!!!
Octopuses are my second favourite animal and this was fantastic! I don't know why the octopus knocked on his door in the first place but Boyo had a serious fight on his hands! Er...face. I hope you are planning a sequel. Love this :D
Truly excellent reminiscent of H.P. Lovecraft The White Ship, Dagon and some what the lighthouse as well Just like GRANNY'S ATTIC. you should have more likes again truly excellent the time taken to create such incredible short videos though they should be longer for just a moment watching two videos has helped me forget my depression.
so delightful!! all the different props and sets were so wonderfully detailed (the stacks of books and the fiddle sequence and the pipe and his two fishermen friends at the end!!!!) and the music did a beautiful job at setting the tone. the kraken was wonderfully sculpted too!! good work on the tentacles :> if i were the lighthouse keeper i would've shared the whiskey and made a new friend
The octopus scene was funny. They can take off tops of jars and although they don’t scurry away that fast, they can slither away and get back into the ocean. They’re so smart. Never had the pleasure of meeting a real octopus.
I'm honestly surprised there haven't been any major ghost stories set in a lighthouse as they're ideal locations A lighthouse set ghost story written in the style of Michelle Paver
The Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a true story about 3 lighthouse keepers who mysteriously went missing.....I don't know if there are any books written about it or anything though
Me parece tan penoso qué el cine y series actuales las hagan con poca luz, pero más aún en unos dibujos.Soy yo la única o alguien echa de menos el color y la imagen nítida????????
No octopuses we’re harmed in the making of this film. I loved it 👍
A lovely cozy short film. And the music sets the mood perfectly!

That was great! Thank you for your effort and for sharing!
What a great story… looks like a great place to spend the weekend… minus the octopus 🐙
Wonderfully created and put together… thanks 🙏 very much… 🌜🌞🌛
Thanks much appreciated.
So good! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us☺️
Moral of the story, dont give booze to cephalopods.
If an octopus attacked my face, I wouldnt be in the mood to play violin soon afterward.
That was just a kiss 💋
If that octopus was a girl and anthro, congrats; you sired a sub-spices of humans we now have to take responsibility for!
Delightful lovely story ! 👍 cozy cottage lighthouse style , very convincing I was well in there Thank you 🌟🌟🌟
Many thanks!
Fabulous. I really enjoyed it.

Love how he's very unconcerned about the glowing octopus until it became a problem.

This film was great! I was captivated!
Claymation gives me Gumby flashbacks. Rather fond of claymation.
Very well made very nicely done. Loved the fine label detail on Dewar's White Label scotch whiskey from Scotland. The Titanic cover on The New York Times. Still felt sorry for the octopus since he tried to imprison it as a spectacle.

@@FrontRoomProductionsanimation That i did & what a great ending shot as well !!!
Fabulous. Thanks.
This is pretty good & I'd imagine it was difficult to animate an octopus. I'm glad to learn that no animals were hurt during filming. Lol
Octopuses are my second favourite animal and this was fantastic! I don't know why the octopus knocked on his door in the first place but Boyo had a serious fight on his hands! Er...face. I hope you are planning a sequel. Love this :D
❤😊 awesome work and so cleverly done, I really enjoyed this so very very much😊❤
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks that’s very encouraging.
Nice job!! 👏
Loved it, i never did trust octopus, they've got no plural, mmmm dodgy. xxx
I liked it.
Cool
There is nothing worse than an Octopus that can't hold its Whisky .
Lovely
I enjoyed the film! I wonder what they did to the lighthouse after he left. (An octopuses' playground?)
AMAZING
The human figures in these look like adult versions of cabbage patch dolls to me. Lol 😸🚬
I saw a lot of liquor in the lighthouse and no food. Could it all just be in his mind....? 🤔

How I imagine every Scotsman’s Saturday night goes…
The octopus scene was funny. They can take off tops of jars and although they don’t scurry away that fast, they can slither away and get back into the ocean. They’re so smart. Never had the pleasure of meeting a real octopus.
I like Glengoyn 😊
Hello, I am from Iraqi Kurdistan. I really enjoyed the cartoon. In the 7th minute I felt very happy. Thank you for your efforts
Glad you enjoyed it!
"The Finest Kind"
you fond of me lobster, don't ye.
This was fun to watch, but I wondered why the lighthouse wasn’t lit?
In the first part of it, I meant not lit. It was lit later..
Thanks…the lighthouse was flashing.
With his whisky consumption the lighthouse keeper was well lit up.
he got outta there so quick LMAOOO
❤❤❤❤❤
It's dark, it's night and stormy; yet the lighthouse is showing no light. In the early scenes.
I also am making a film about a seaman who has to fight a giant octopus
I'm honestly surprised there haven't been any major ghost stories set in a lighthouse as they're ideal locations
A lighthouse set ghost story written in the style of Michelle Paver
The Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a true story about 3 lighthouse keepers who mysteriously went missing.....I don't know if there are any books written about it or anything though
I heard about that story as well 🤔
That cheesy 'Two weeks Later' screen caught me off guard for such an otherwise impressive production.
Is this an advertisement of Scotch whiskey? 🙂
Were you paid any promo compensation from Dewar's.
I wmat to marry a lighthouse keeper and live by the sea, i want to marry a lighthouse keeper and keep him company... I remember that song
Gle mhath!
The lighthouse was never lit. Not once.
That guy was just a bum that gave booze to marine life.
However, very dark, can’t see it well.
Too dark. Bad cotrast.
Me parece tan penoso qué el cine y series actuales las hagan con poca luz, pero más aún en unos dibujos.Soy yo la única o alguien echa de menos el color y la imagen nítida????????
Slow
Horrible plot... Nonsensical
Loved it. Beautifully done
Thank you so much!
Loved this 👍
