Wow. This was so informative. Im sad there was so much left out in my class.
Why would you use a technique that makes an eye look bigger on an already big eye and vice Versa , why make a small eye smaller. That’s backwards! Doll eyes open up small eyes and cat eyes elongate round eyes. Your sets do look phenomenal but I think your logic for why you choose the map you do is misinformation for new artists out there.

I went to a new lash tech and she did the doll eyes on me which I normally don’t get and I have really small eyes I feel like they don’t look right . I usually get 20 cat eyes but I got a 19 and I feel like they cover half of my eye . Do you have any suggestions ?

Love that you explained the map AND showed real life photos. I would love to see more natural examples too bc I wouldn’t map my eyes with either of those with such long lengths so it’s hard to imagine what it would look like

Frida Markri you want to be about 1mm from the skin. As long as you are not on the skin you are ok.

Not true, i have small eyes and cat eye looks awful and just makes my eyes look smaller. From what I’ve heard it’s actually the complete opposite of what you said. Small eyes look better with open eye style

If a person with flat lashes receives a D curl will you have problems with retention. Also, will the straight lashes stand out of the D extension? Would it be noticeable?

Thank you for the info!!! Question about the 15-13-11 set you mentioned. If you have a long lash in the inner corner do you still put a 15 on it? You said long lashes 15s, shorter 13s, and shortest 11s. I've only tried the different lengths on top, middle, bottom layer to create the "perfect lash line" effect so I'm assuming this gives more of a wispy effect? I would love to try but a little hesitant to put 15s on a top layer lash even if it's long lol Thankss!!!!

When you shared that you take it to the arch and drop it back down that only makes so much sense to me. I have taken classes on this and no one, I mean no one has explained it more thorough than you. You explain it as a natural! Thank you so much! Of course I would want to purchase some lashes that you have previously experience of using. I will order some of that Dark Matter Adhesive. Does it come in different strengths? And what is a good lash remover to use. I am looking for a cream and a liquid remover, regular and sensitive. Appreciate you lots! thanks....
I disagree, big time! I have big eyes and I hate the doll eye on myself. I love cat/Fox eye to decrease the roundness and close off my eye for a more sultry look. And it Looks amazing 🤩.

Where can I find 2ml lash glue that works really well? I just started and do lashes on the side but I don’t need 5ml I feel like it doesn’t last long before it gets stringy.

London lash I believe has sample sizes and you can choose which adhesive you get in those sizes. I’m actually doing the same thing right now. So a full size adhesive isn’t feasible for me right now

Hmmmm interesting i thought it was the opposite! I was told on big eyes you do cat eye because u don’t want them to look surprised with the doll eye ...they already big why make them bigger that’s for smaller eyes ....now for hooded eyes or small eyes u want them to appear bigger so u do doll eye ...cat eye would actually make the eye look droopy
laly actually not always the case. 9x outta 10 doll eye compliments the natural eye of big eyes better than a cat eye would. And a cat eye compliments the small eyes.
laly it also all depends on which lengths you pick too.

Hi! I love your Chanel so informative and want to thank you for sharing your expertise. Im a licensed esthetician and volume lash trained. However I’m struggling with making my sets look full. It seems like no matter how many lashes I create to make 2d-5d it looks so natural. Everyone is into the dramatic look and I’m not trying to mimic those artist. I know however every girl doesn’t want natural. I’m wondering if I’m using to light of a lash? I use .07 should I go .10 help 😩
