Can someone explain this to me lol so my question is for lash mapping. When you have your peaks mapped out, you put whatever length you have written down in that quandrant until you get to the next one with another length ? Like for example my quandrant is 10 mm and you have the line for my next quandrant and then you put your next length until you get to the next line?

Thank you so much!! so if your using longer lashes you just need to make sure that you fans are a bit smaller as the length adds weight, so we take off that weight by making the fans smaller

So I’ve heard that there are usually 3 layers of lashes. When you are lash mapping, what numbers do you put for the 3rd layer? Or do you just use the same lengths a the second layer?

Hey the curl doesn’t really matter, you can use any curl you think will look best or what your client prefers but for cat eye use a less dramatic curl. In the inner to mid and then more curly in the mid to the outer corner
When you go from 13, 14, 16, 17, 17….. do you still add a a few 15s in between the 14 & 16 to blend or you don’t blend. I heard another UA-cam Lash tech say you always always have to blend. But it seems you’ve found an easier way to where you don’t need to blend. Am I trippin or am I understanding that you completely just skip a length or two? 😂 ❤❤❤
Hey love. Ok so basically you can add 15s to blend however i do not. It’s only a 2mm different so adding 15s wont make s huge difference. Also never go lighter than 2mm in between sections!

I don’t get how you know what length to place like okay your saying shorter in inner corner and longer to outer corner but how do I know to place a 14 in the middle and a 9 in the inner instead of a 12 in the inner like it’s confusing me how do you know what length to place if they said short how would I know to place a 9 or a 10 or 11 or if they said long how would I know to place a 16 or 18

Is the Doll eye similar to the Kitten eye? And is the Open Eye the same as the Natural? I’m a new lash tech. And have found it hard to have the courage of moving forward and working on people because my instructors didn’t go in depth about mapping 💔 Thank you!

Now when you jump lengths from say 15 to a 13 would you transition a few lashes in, between for blending in any case?

Yes you never go more than 2mm. Meaning is one section is 12mm then the one next to it shouldn’t be more then 14mm
oh i always only go up/down by one length (eg 9-10-11-12) and even then, there’s a ‘staircase’ effect where i can clearly see where i changed lengths😢

Yeah so open eye is the more natural style very similar to the natural lash map. For doll eye it is a little more similar to a cat eye!

I don't agree with the doll eye mapping. The longest should be in the center. That doll eye looks like cat eye mapping.
