You convinced me…I blind bought de tour noir 2 days back just coz of your review…..and I want to say a big Thank you…..it’s a really really nice fragrance.
This one did not convince me at first but it's starting to grow pretty quickly on me. I wore it to the office the other day, two female coworkers said it smells very nice and pleasant, another one said it smells like gasoline to her. The lesson? Not all noses perceive a fragrance the same way, different noses different tastes.
Got this today along with Afnan 9pm. This is really good. I also have a bottle of PDM Layton. I will probably just spray a few Detours and one or two sprays of Layton for daily use. I'll get more miles out of my PDM bottle this way!
@@GamingBros654 They both are good and really a can't miss at the current price. I personally like Detour Noir better, but have gotten a few compliments while wearing Afnan 9.
@@murariraj4293 they are both solid. Neither one irritates me. I've also used both to experiment layer with other colognes to just have some fun. Very affordable and very nice.

I really can't agree. For me it smells very cheapish. I would only wear it for very casual situations. For the price it's okay, but I would instantly smell the difference if someone wears it.
I definitely have to agree with you…mainly. Right out of the gate, to me, it smelled fairly synthetic, which really surprised me, because everyone was touting it so heavily. I think in the long drydown, it does better, but I think with a good clone, I should enjoy it right out of the gate. I will say, that my wife, who doesn’t care for any of the other very good fragrances I have, really liked this one, a number of hours into me spraying it, so…
Can I wear this to anywhere? Like for work and to use on parties and night outs, something that smells good and unique, and will it be okay for spring now?
Amber Oud Blue Edition is a clone of Bleu de Chanel (parfum afaik). You want Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu for a Layton clone - and I believe it’s not Al Haramain that make it, even though it’s the same style bottle.
I’d say you have to give it time. I have a 2022 batch and when I first wore it I was feeling a bit disappointed because of performance. I wore it again last week (about 2 months after using it the first time) and I could smell it the whole day. I also sprayed on my clothes and I could smell it the next day. So who knows in reality 🤷🏽♂️

@@dilanh2311 lasts the whole day when I go to work….8-9 hrs easily…with 2-3 hrs projection.
It just arrived and i can’t describe how good this fragrance is !

Agreed. Have a sample of Layton and besides the stronger menthol/minty note in the opening missing from DN they're super similar

Try North Stag Deux. I opted for this as Detour Noir is always sold out. I find north stag better
Dusk is much higher quality than DN.

Amber oud exclusif bleu is significantly better.
Does this smell like Burberry Brit for him ?
Because I really don’t like Burberry Brit for him is to much for my nouse
It may smell 10/10 but I really don’t want it because of that hideous bottle alone 😭

It is a beatiful fragrance, I'm not convinced how well it performs though.
Detour Noir is so trash it’s insane that people love to smell like Vicks vapor rub but hey, to each his own
