- How to get any pokeball on a regional form in pokemon scarlet and pokemon violet. If you have gotten a gift in pokemon or transfer a Pokémon from an old game and its locked to a specific pickleball and you want to change the pokeball all you have to do is find the regional form of that pokemon in the current game you are playing and breed it. This pokeball trick will save you tons of time and stress.

@@vaulted4239 you should be able to go to your profile in the E shop and look at your purchases and it should show the receipt with the code
There should be a mechanic allowing us to manually change a Pokémon's Pokéball. The qualified Poké Balls are ones you can acquire in game and excludes event mons in a Cherish Ball.
Edit: the old ball breaking to prevent duplicating, such as for the Master Ball, is a great idea!
that seems...dumb. Cause at that point, what's the point of catching them in special pokeballs??? At that point, just catch them in the ball you want them in.
What if it’s a Pokémon that you cant catch like some of the starters? There I would agree in manually changing

100% put Hisuian Zoroark in a premier ball to color match
Definitely the top pick for a standard colored hisuian zoroark. I used the dusk ball and bred out a shiny for mine.

NOTE FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS A SPECIFIC NATURE ON THE REGIONAL VARIANT:
Having both parents hold an everstone forces a 50/50 for the offspring to get its nature from either parent. This is how u can get the wanted nature on the variant from the local variant parent while also having the proper regional form. So in this scenario u can breed for both the right ball AND nature in one go if the preferred nature is on the regular rather than the hisui zoroark. I tested this on the galar meowth

I bred for a Shiny Hisuian Zorua in a Lure Ball on Mount Glaseado
Funfact, I was breeding to get a Female in a Lure Ball (Because I got a Male) and I got a shiny Unovan Zorua BEFORE I got a Female 😅
I wanted mine in a beast ball, took around 2 hours of throwing the ball and resetting if it didn't catch before I got it, then got the shiny in around 50 eggs
This change was so needed, I need my Pokémon in specific color-matching balls!
Forget the pokeball. You just gave me hope in breeding my hisuian zororak. It kept coming out as the original but I wanted ghost and normal so bad for the 1 weakness.

It works on other Pokémon in Sword and Shield. every mimikyu I breed is in a love ball.
Managed to do this with a Hisuian Zorua I got via Wonder Trade that came in a Moon Ball. Managed to get a shiny one via Masuda Method and I’m very happy the ball fits it so well.
Note: The species have to be the exact same. I wasted about 30 minutes breeding H-Zoroark with U-Zoroa and only getting red balls.
No it’s not bruh that’s the whole point of the video, you just need two Pokémon in the same egg group
@@thirstylizard1809 Sorry, but that's not exactly correct. Philly shows an male H-Zoroark and a female U-Zoroark. Once you get a female H-Zorua in the ball you want, but can breed it with any male Field mon you want (as long as the female H-Zorua has the Everstone to let its offspring maintain their Hisuian form).

I realized the species need to be same when I got only eggs with timer ball or normal poké ball, and not nest ball, when I had a timer ball female frorretress and nest ball male pineco breeding.

Hisuin Voltorb & Electrode are one of the variants this can't work with. They are genderless and so, can't breed without ditto. So if you get one with a rare pokeball, chances are it was hacked.

Unfortunately, anything bred with ditto will be put into a regular pokeball.

Bit late, but If you do this, and you are at all interested in your bred mons having a specific nature, make sure you get the nature you want on your regional Mon BEFORE starting to breed for IVs. You can do this by either breeding your regional form with a ditto or an opposite gender same species (any form) with the nature you want, and having both holding the Everstone, and then hatching until you have a regional form Pokemon in the ball you want and with the nature you want.
Why is this important? Because the moment you start breeding for IVs, since you have to have your regional pokemon holding an Everstone to transfer its regional form, it will as a consequence also transfer its nature, 100% of the time (bc of Everstone).
So if anyone tries this, be warned, or you will end up with a batch of great IV offspring in a nice ball, but all having the same terrible nature.
