Today I'm gonna be taking a look at how to claim compensation if you’ve been the victim of negligence on the part of the NHS. If you have any questions or requests, let us know in the comments and if you like this video, please do hit that thumbs up button as this will help us see what type of content people find helpful.
I’d first of all like to state that the tireless work done by the NHS and its staff is second to none and we really are fortunate to have a national health service that offers medical advice, care and assistance in the way that it does. But there are times when accidents happen and mistakes are made, mistakes which can sometimes have a devastating impact on a person’s life. It’s in these cases, when a victim may have no choice but to pursue a claim for compensation in order to be able to live a normal life as possible due to impact that negligent incident has had on their life as well as the life of those close to them.
To start the process of claiming compensation, we recommend that you seek legal assistance from a personal injury claims specialist like LegalExpert.co.uk. The process could not be simpler. We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you can contact us via our live chat service at LegalExpert.co.uk or call us on 0800 652 7676 where you’ll receive a free consultation, helping you establish whether or not your case has merits. The free advice that you’ll be given should give you a clear path on how to move forward with your case.
If you wish to claim, you must do so within three years of the accident occurring, if you don’t the courts may reject your case. They may allow the claim to proceed but only if you have very good justification for not having brought your claim within three years of the accident occurring, for example you may have been in a coma.
Once we’ve gone through your case with you, if we believe that we’re able to assist you, we may offer to represent you on a no win no fee basis with your claim. This means that you don’t have to worry about any upfront fees and if your case was to lose then there’s not a penny to pay.
We’ll be happy to talk through nhs negligence claims statistics and if you’re interested in examples of medical negligence cases payouts uk, we’ll look at our nhs compensation payouts guide which will cover a multitude of medical negligence payouts as well as nhs negligence payouts death.

Let's say, someone goes to the doctor with a swallen leg and pain in the leg and given arthritis medication: no X ray was made and the person never had arthritis before. Taking arthritis painkillers thinking he was getting better then gets sepsis. Turns out it was an infection in the leg. And this is only the start of sad events, after 3 sepsises a person dies, last year in agony. And all started with that first infection in the leg which GP did not notice...

My daughter had a late diagnosis of Galactosaemia as a newborn. We had to fight for 3 weeks to get her seen. She saw at least 20 doctors all of whom ignored my pleas for help. They even ignored the midwife.
She was skin and bones and deathly ill with sepis and swollen liver etc when we barged onto the ward and demanded she be admitted and she was finally diagnosed.
She’s now 10 years with learning issues and has to use an iPad to talk, she has a tremor and history of seizures. She’ll likely never be fully dependent.
What sort of compensation is she likely to get?

My sons in hospital due to burst appendix the hospital also noticed fluid on his lungs, when they were told that the GP had prescribed steroids for a infection instead of antibiotics, they said that the steroids have had a hand in appendix issue and should of never been prescribed to him as also they had no effect on infection but aggravated it.

i was diagnosed with tendonitis back 16 years ago, i have been suffering so much pain over the years. So recently I revisited a hospital and they went over the xray i had and it showed that i actually tore the ligament to the point that the bones in my wrist have shifted resulting in my bones are filing each other down and degenerative arthritis? do i have any chance of claiming even after all this time??

I would say that you have a good chance because you had no knowledge 16 years ago. Only recently you've discovered their misdiagnosis. You should go to a medical claims lawyer ASAP.

Can you guarantee that the NHS cannot refuse to give you any sort of treatment if you are or have ever been in litigation against them. In other words, can the NHS strike a person from their patients register for suing them?

    • @LegalExpertUK
      @LegalExpertUK  3 роки тому

      Hi Gary,
It would be impossible for anyone outside of the NHS to 'guarantee' who they do and do not offer treatment to but the general precedent for those who have made claims in the past is that they've been able to continue to use the NHS under the same circumstances as everyone else. If you've been involved in an accident and don't already have someone assisting you, we'd be happy to talk through your claim with you and see how we can help. Feel free to give us a call on 0800 652 7676 and we'll do our best to help.

I am trying do it. Last week they dismissed from the GP's care because I requested face to face appointment, they said they will need to think about it 48 hours and let me know if I can have a appointment. . It's all on recordings.
I am a former nurse too. Have neurological symptoms, part of my body didn't respond last week, so they saying I have to wait 48 hours. Ridiculous! My daughter had to call a ambulance inside the GP because the doctor refused to help me.
Repeat I have all on voice recordings, 5 doctors denied prescribe my medication. I am crying for help.

Never seen any of your cases concerning medication and the opioid laws , hence a patient is not to be left without prescribed medication if they are dependent on it yet these are a breach of human rights hence law that is happening all the time , the government just paid out £5000 for each breach it did to its prisoners, but nothing from the millions left without that the nhs is responsible for iv not heard of one case i wonder why its because they don't want you to know but you do now as i have just told everyone 😁
