I agree. The people in Russia have the same variety of concerns that people in other countries have. Basic daily life things. The only difference is that they have been fed a specific diet of information that molds their world view around politics and government. I suppose, we are no different in the west; just a different mold. I presume they didn't mention the Russo-Ukraine war because in Moscow and St. Petersburg they are somewhat insulated from it.

I always blamed russian politics and especially the madman Putin, lots of common russian people just wants to live their lives, to love, learn, feel happiness, emotions...same as people all over the world, we are all human no matter where we come from. The thing I dread the most is that the regime we can see in North Korea spreads into other countries as well... currently Russia due to it's politics is a good adept for that in very early stage.

Russians are generally great interviewees: they have strong, sometimes downright weird opinions and are usually very coherent and unabashed in expressing themselves. It's too bad we don't live in a world where we have no bombs, guns, nukes, or war, and can't just get to know each other as people. We could all be great friends given the chance.

Ukraine also did not declare war, for all the time 300,000 people were mobilized with a mobilization resource of 25,000,000 people, we just cannot break our own territories where our own people live, otherwise we would have acted like the United States in Iraq where they died according to various estimates from 800,000 to 1,100,000 people, of which 350,000 are children, and they attacked under false reasons, this was not even condemned ...
