That haunted ride that is being built is originally from Rye Playland in NY. And was built there in 1971. Originally it was just called Haunted Mansion but was rebranded to Flying Witch sometime in the 90s and they added that graffiti art to the walls. Lots of history and sad to see it gone from our park. But glad its going to be put to good use at yours. Enjoy!
At 68 years old, I still remember my grandfather working for the city of Buffalo and one of the year they would rent the park out for all the members families. Amazing little park loaded with nostalgia and that wooden coaster looks awesome! Seems like it runs very fast! What is even more amazing is that I never even heard of this park! I thought Seabreeze and The Great Escape were the only two northern most parks in New York. The weird thing is that looking at some of the rides, I remember many of them being at Long Island's Adventureland. Not sure if they were actually from there, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were. What stands out most is the natural beauty of the park. Also the varied attractions such as a fantasy village AND a full western town. This place has serious potential to become a large family park. I certainly will be keeping g a close eye on this one!
Thank you for your video. I was there a lot during the Martin's Fantasy Island days. Please let's just give Gene Staples some time as Apex left this park in ruin and the vandals made it worse. We should all be greatful to Gene for resurrecting this gem of an amusement park. Rome was not built in a day and neither will this park but as you pointed out, there is lots of possibilities and I think in another 2 to 4 years this park has the chance to be even better than it was during the Martin years.
Pinocchio isn't in there anymore because when it was closed down people vandalized the park and broke the door open and threw him on the ground. They also recently took one of the new rides down.
Seeing the status of Triple Loop, I sadly am going to agree with you about Cascabelle, at least for the next 5 years given the struggles with the other Mexican Schwarchkofp in the IB Parks chain (which given how fast things change that basically means it's a never). As sad as I am to loose Mindbender hopefully the parts from that will be able to get these up and running.
Just thought i'd addd.... there is another schwartkopf running here by us in South africa @gold reef city know as Golden loop ....its intense actually have a video of myself on it on my channel.
I have no authority on it but from the looks of the site I am in very serious doubts about it ever being built - all other rides stored other than the Huss Top Spin have been assembled in some form in the park.

It's exiting watching what was a doomed destination resurrect into hopefully a new great park.
I did the same thing last year. I stopped by Niagara Amusement Park on my way to Seabreeze.

On the website recently they added all the new rides opening in june, there are a lot there adding.

Of the rides in the lot. The pirate ship is from a Huss Pirate. There's also a Trabant or a Wipe Out.

I never thought about it status in relation to the loss of Mindbender! Hopefully that loss will mean good news for Cascabelle.
When i went after a while they opened again, the white and blue building had some arcade games in it.
Noticed they had taken down Serpent on a recent drive by. Look forward to riding it and other new rides next season!

Your unidentified ride is a Caterpillar ride ride. Looks like the "new rides for 2023" will be completed in 2024.

It was sadly sold and sits in storage currently. The new owners of Fantasy Island may have a replacement opening this year.
