Thanks for sharing your trip and your Project M setup. Looks like you have added some nice handy items to your setup recently. I like the addition of "Alexa" - we are a fan of "hers" I had not yet set up our speaker/clock to use in the camper. And the setup for the Starlink!. I hope you can share more on that in the future. I like that it is not "hard mounted". Keep up with the great video's
This is great intel. What is the aluminum bar system your using for your shelves, lower bunk...etc? I'm in the market and would love to know. Thank you!
How does the 8020 piece for your lower bed attach?…in the video it looks like you just slide it in there and it stays put. Love your content by the way. I’m just starting my adventure. I get my project M the beginning of August.
3d Print a 3" duct flange and use neodymium magnets as a quick connect for your diesel heater. They already designed them for dust extraction, but you can just resize them to your needs.
@@sponsoredbywifey I think I sent it on instagram. We were in Utah the next weekend riding and wanted to see if you were still going to be around. Long shot, but worth a try.
Great videos. Can I ask how you secure your e-motorcycle when you’re away from your truck? I have two e-mountain bikes and worry about them being stolen with just a chain and lock.
Hi Joe, I have some dust that gets in. It’s not to bad as I use a blower when I get to my destination. I have a kit to install that minimizes the dust but a year and a half later, I have yet to insta it. That’s how minimal it is for me. Most toppers will have dust as the tailgate of your truck doesn’t seal. I’m using the VL45pro.

Yea, it slides into the side extrusions. It’s been working so far. It’s almost August… congrats on the upcoming camper

I’ll have to look into that
Awesome video! Can you use some sort of V-band attachment for the vent hose?
I’ll have to look into that
That person trying to message you was probably me! 😂
It wasn’t. I didn’t see one from you. 😭

Very cool setup. How is the bottom 80/20 structure attached?😮
It’s bolted through to the 1/2 floor plate

I just use a pin lock. From what I’ve seen and heard, people will steal it no matter what lock you use. I don’t leave my vehicle for too long.
How does the bed pull out like that without creating a step between the existing space and the extended space?
There’s a little step when bed is pulled out half way. It doesn’t bother us. We’re happy to have all that space
Currently debating on weather to get the project M, Does dust get inside while on dirt roads? What size fridge are you using ?
Thanks
Joe

@@sponsoredbywifey i just bought the vl45 pro, powered by the 1500x so far so good
What size pickup bed is that? Curious how much space you have to stand up with the bed fully extended. 5.5 ft? 6 ft? or ?
It’s a 5.5
