By the way, I remembered that at least imps cannot even make deals, because Fizzaroli would not leave so easily and Mammon would sign his soul. I think the higher you are in the hierarchy, the stronger the terms of the deal are to stick to. Therefore, the deal with Charlie may be useful to Alastor not only from the point of view of the conditions, but also the inviolability of the deal itself
It feels like Alastor would never normally let anyone else hold his microphone so him doing this may be showing a more caring side of him or so I've heard.

I think it's more about being righteous in order to kill an Angel, not only Angels but also demons like Carmilla, she was sacrificing herself for her children and that righteousness made the executioners vulnerable to her, you know since they just wanted to murder for the fun of it

I think that Lucifer on instinct may have already picked up on the fact that Alastor's intentions may be more dangerous than he makes them seem. Initially, he had no reason to see Alastor with disrespect. AND he treated everyone else somewhat decently. So why was Lucifer distrustful right off the bat, unless he already suspects something?
i dunno if suicide is considered a sin in viv's world but if it is them just straight up offing themselves even if they are a good person wouldnt get them to heaven. Snek boi died trying to save the people he loved, he was willing to risk his life even though he didnt want to die. Since it seems like everything involving heaven has to do with selflessness and love (vaggie getting her wings back, Pen going to heaven) its safe to assume they have to die in a situation where they are giving their all to do good. The real quesiton is, which is stronger, the powers of heaven or a soul contract.
To explain with subtitles with why there are two Portuguese subs, this is because the Portuguese spoken in Brazil is a little different from the Portuguese spoken in Portugal. to be fair... how many of us know exactly what choice we would've made if we were in the same situation as Charlie where the only option is to either accept a vague agreement to do someone a favor in exchange for knowledge that could save everything or refuse the deal and potentially watch everything be burned to the ground by angels you would have no way of harming without knowing who to go to in order to learn how they can be killed? i know that was a long question but still. it's very easy to say "you never do this or that" when you're in a stable frame of mind but situations like this very rarely have both parties of the deal in a healthy, non-desperate state of mind. but I do like how you were certain that Alastor will inevitably use the deal to get his soul back. everyone else I've watched seemed to have forgotten that Alastor is on a leash and clearly isn't the type of demon to tolerate being bound for very long.
I'm not sure, but it would certainly be within her ability to do so given Stolas can do it with a Grimoire's spell. The things he could do are endless but I think his soul is priority one.

Yes, and I've been there. Its dangerous what Alastor and Rosie are doing with Charlie. Showing the grooming kind of love and would def use her. Its very hard to realize and come out of that emotionally. Gladly I was saved in time (by saved I mean emotional manipulation by my oh-so-caring relatives who wanted some shit from my parents and were about to use me against them kind)...... Life teaches you stuff.
Technically speaking, Rosie seems much more sincere in her kindness compared to Alastor. Sure she was mostly in it for the free food like the other cannibals, but during Charlie's freakout after the Susan incident, she was pretty patient and gave Charlie some pretty decent advice regarding the tension between her and Vaggie.
We simply have too many antagonists, I understand that this is hell and not a very good heaven, but still. And if we take into account the potential of the Helluva Boss... How can you trust anyone here?
