@@eDrumsandVSTs hey, in my case it is changing all note On values to the second hand snare note instead of alternating. The Off note is still the input note.
@@gfunkstube Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Thats odd, I actually coded a bit in the plugin to ensure the note OFF was the same note as the note ON, whichever note it was. I would remove the script from the FX list, then readd it. Dont hit anything yet though. Set your two values, THEN start playing. And, if you tinker with Reaper scripts, please let us know if you spot any logic errors anywhere. I never had an issue with it but i didnt do strenuous testing.
Hi there. Love your videos. Could you please tell me your process for lining up you audio and video for your videos? I’ve started trying to do drum covers and so far I’ve been trying to line up audio and video separately it’s such a pain. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Thanks much for your message! I will normally use multiple camera angles if I can. nothing extravagant, just cell phone cameras etc. I use OBS to record the screen and record the audio output of the drum plugin. Basically stack the video/audio from your camera on top of the audio from your drum plugin in a video editor like Davinci Resolve or whatever. You'll see the waveform in the editor. Use the ups and downs of the audio waveforms to match them. Even though you may not use the audio from your camera's recording, you can use the camera audio's waveform to visually match it with the drum plugin's output audio. Sometimes I do have to find a unique drum fill or something I do on video, then go through the audio and listen for that drum fill...just to make sure I am in sync.
So it's automatic? What if you're trying to do blasts hitting one specific area of the snare and say want only the left hand samples? It's going to switch back and forth then anyway automatically?
Hi! Yes, if this is on, it will always switch back and forth automatically. I can say, however, you could program a pad to turn it off or on....sometime soon i will investigate the best way to do that and do an update video. Its a good request, I agree.
