The limo looked nice, loved the funky lighting, think you made the right choice for travelling there.
What i’ve found interesting in watching these Vietnam videos, is all the vehicles seem to be new, haven’t noticed many ‘old bangers’ on the roads there.

Me and my buddy took a similar minivan to SaPa from Hanoi in November of 2019. Can't remember how much we paid, but would rather take a train next time. That's what we did on the way back from SaPa. Would rather do the 10 hour train ride vs the 5 hour car ride. We had the private cabin in the train and we just slept through out the night.
