I've been listening to this song like 1,000 times and now I think it's one of my favorite songs, at the first time I thought it was just a popish song but I was wrong, I love it
This seems to be the case for a lot of people. I mean prog metal songs in general take a bit go get into, but this track in particular is a major grower. Something about it makes it seem simple and poppy, with not a lot of parts that stand out. It's only after a bunch of listens do you actually start to appreciate the structure of the song and just how fucking dark the vibe is.
I always listen to periphery songs multiple times before I form an opinion; with the exception of Crush, which I am ambivalent about, I always start out not sure about them and then after a few listens I love it.
I don't know. I found this really easy to just "get" on the first listen. Wildfire and Zagreus, on the other hand, took a few listens before they clicked.
@@TheAluvisify wildfire and zagreus I adored from the get go, while Atropos I genuinely disliked until my 6th or 7th listen, and now it’s my favourite of them all
@@OhrionReacts Well… Spencer SOTELO + “djent” + Carlton = “Sodjourn” (a quite blatant rip-off of “Sojourn”, which means “a short stay”, haha - much like how short that dance stuck around! 😂👌🏼)
I got the blegh merch goods here ;) come take a look! www.ohrionapparel.com

At first I didn’t like it nearly as much as the other two. Now it’s my favorite song of the year (so far) :|
Literally same 😭❤️

I didn't love it the first time either, but now it's easily my favourite song of 2023

His cleans become even better when you find out he's completely self taught
And when you learn he used 0 pitch correction or altering in the main vocals of this song!
