I got a brand new replacement pod yesterday, and it made my original (non replaced AirPod start making a hi pitched squeaking noise when in ear and when placing it back in case. You need to go to blue tooth , select air pod, turn noise control off, then the next setting /option below is “press and hood AirPods”, turn that to Siri. Once I changed this final setting it stopped. And I was able to turn noise control back on about 30 minutes later. But I left the press and hold settings to Siri.
@@Ahsanejaz123458 go into settings then go to airpods, turn noise control off, change left and right holds to siri, turn off automatic ear detection and it stopped whistling for me. its a bummer that i cant use noise cancelling or transparency mode but atleast they work now
Everyone, if your Airpod Pro's ever encounter water damage and have the high pitch noise (even excess water from accidentally putting them in the washer), just leave them alone for some time and the water will eventually dry/drain!! It could take a while but that could be better than paying the repair or replacement fee.
Do not reset your iPhone unless you want to reset all faceID and empty your apple wallet of all cards. This is a known issue with these AirPods and nothing to do with software.
Hi Galaxy, According to some online sources, If you delete all the Bluetooth devices, then reset your AirPods, and using only the AirPods with the device can help.

@@reubengelawatcharles5207 a day
@@reubengelawatcharles5207 it could take a day or up to weeks. Depending on how much liquid/water they’ve been exposed to.
It’s been like 6 months and it’s still squeeking

Damn sadly none of these steps fixed the issue :(
Hi Jacob G, Have you tried disconnecting All Bluetooth devices from your phone and only using the AirPods, it might fix the issue.

@@AppleTricksOfficial I tried that already, sadly it didn't work.
Didn't work for me. Using airpods pro and a android phone. Only chirps in 1 ear every 3 second or so
Hi Josh Cc600, Delete All devices from your Android, then Reset AirPods Pro. Then connect only the AirPods with your Phone. It can Fix the issue.
