I love that this one paid better tribute to Bruce, even with the use of his real life funeral footage. The build up to it was such a nice love letter to him.

Just for information, in the Arrow box set there is a Korean version of Game of Death 2 in HD

I only realised that when I was deep into editing the video, so it was too late to include it haha- plus I haven't seen this version as I don't own the Arrow boxset

this storyline and action was way better than the original game of death (except for the tower scenes, of course)

At 9:15 you say this hasn't been released in any HD format. There was a limited Blu-Ray set by Arrow Films made last year where this Korean version of the movie is actually added as a special feature to the standard American GOD2 disc. I feel super lucky to have gotten that huge Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest boxset because it has all these alternate versions to these movies. Most notably the Mandarin cut of The Big Boss where a lot of deleted scenes are added back in to actually build on the connection between Bruce Lee and James Tien's characters.

that kick through the box had to hurt the stuntman like hell. they didn't fake that one.

Hi, is there any way of getting the American version here in the UK? I really like the funeral scene and the scene where we see the little child Bruce Lee.

Yes it is a very good movie , but i will tell you the best Martial movie I think was Ever Made was Fist Of Fury , called the Chinses Connection in some other parts of the World , and here is why i think that this was maybe the best one , it had revenge like a lot Kung Fu movie , but it had this one Element that i have not seen in other Martial Art movie , the main character that Bruce Lee played turned into a serial Killer , by his great grieve for the killing of his teacher ,and he almost goes completely insane , and the Martial Arts Action was almost as good as the story line , and at end of this movie shows the insanity of the main character when he charges into a bunch of police officers with loaded guns pointed at him , this movie had a very sad ending a lot movie don't end this way , the very guy you think is the good guy gets killed in the end , most movies don't end like that , and that is some the elements in this movie that makes me think that this is the maybe the best Martial Arts movie ever made .

It's a bad movie cashing in on the Lee name. It is not even entertaining - just bad.

Couldn't agree more. I can't bring myself to watch it again as it's so bad. Awful film and no real storyline.

Yes, but it has some of the greatest fight choreography ever committed to celluloid.
