thank you for your video, it is very rare that we put videos asking for something, you say "PEACE" "SPORT" "WE BE TOGETHER" we have put on our progamme your request, to Internauts
Nice one. Used to be really into martial arts as a very young boy so it's nice to catch occasionally your interviews and showcase displays of the prowess of the masters...have a great weekend,Stephen
Steve Oliver Lol! Cheers, bro! Started classical guitar at 15 so kind of put off after seeing a friend's banana damaged fingers..Still interested in it though..Have a good weekend:)
I thought the same thing: for Karate to be entered into UNESCO as an intangible heritage. Will it be just Okinawan Karate, because there are many different styles of Karate, from the big Okinawan three, Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu, and Uechi Ryu. And there are others like Ryuei Ryu, Kojo Ryu, Shito Ryu, etc.
How will you deal with the Korean Taekwondo practitioners who insist that Taekwondo is entirely Korean, rather than being from Shotokan Karate and Taekkyeon? They may challenge Karate's induction into UNESCO, claiming that Karate is from Taekwondo.
May i make a correction, when he talks about the other Karate styles he doesn't say Yoshukai but KyokushinKai. I love your vids with Higaonna sensei, Osu!
Hey Steve, Okinawa as far as I understand is still apart of Japan...The chinese may think differently, but the Okinawan's I know consider themselves Japanese.
That's as may be today but culterally Okiniawa is Okinawa and not Japan. The other point being that Karate Do was not a Japanese creation, In fact it was many years before the Japanese accepted Karate Do into their martial arts collective.
Humility, kindness and greatness together are the true treasure
A man radiating kindness. Nibaru, sensei
what a man he is what we all would like to be

The timing of this is perfect as there is a silly WKF tournament going on now in Oki.
Where can I find more info on the festival?
How does someone sign up for this?
How do I reserve my spot??
Good event

Do you think the belt and Kyu/Dan system should be done away with?

Not wishing to be a pedant but Adeyto needs to stop making the common mistake that Karate is Japanese. It is Okinawan not Japanese.
