I dont think you did so bad with your predictions. Everyone overhyped Burnley and, barring your Man United love, I think you did well. Just maybe wait until the transfer window closes before you make predictions.
Only problem with doing predictions when the window shuts is there's usually already been 3 matches played... Maybe we'll do an early predictions & a post-transfer window update for next season

7 teams spot on is actually a really good prediction. I also think that most people got Man Utd, Burnley and Brentford quite wrong.
Brentford underperformed massively on XG and X points.
what people dont realize is that arsenal started slow out the block.. it took a awhile to figure out that left side of the midfield(and still has not) the early games they won was not impressive. I believe if arteta get that rigth arsenal will win the title next season..
I don't even think Arteta has his "Ideal XI" yet. A reliable, first choice left back & clinical striker are surely on his summer transfer list...

I mean, no none predicted United would suck THIS hard. They did ok last season, I didn't see a lot of people predicting they'd plummet into the mess they are in.
i didn't i got them bang on correct, i said they would finished 19th and they proved me right. it's everyone else that overhyped them.

With the man united prediction, given how we were last season and everyone predicting us to do well again this season no one really saw that coming, I didn't really see the burnley hype, yeah he played good footy in the championship but the prem is a different level and he got found out
Tbf, i remember at the time thinking, what is the point in doing your predictions as early as you did. So many of these decisions were affected by that mistake so this year, do it just before the season starts 👍

"Crash & Burnley" prediction! Always felt that was a bit optimistic. Otherwise tbh fairly decent predictions overall except ManU: I still remember the hype and excitement at the "great business" they did over the Summer (!).
Bear in mind Palace big problem was injuries to Eze/Olise and an incredibly thin squad until 2 excellent signings in Jan and good set up by Glasner and fit again stars and the amazing form of Mateta as you covered.
Surprised Brentford did not do better even without Toney. Brighton had to sink after those sales. Be interesting to see your next predictions at end of the Summer.

As much fun as it is to get these early it’s probably best to wait until the Transfer Window closes next time around so you can make better informed predictions.
"Not a great year" = almost level with Spencer FC's BEST-EVER season. You did well, mate.
Already predicting Palace to challenge for Europe next season? Didnt you learn anything from the video that you are literally reacting to xD Dont predict anything this early, they will likely be gutted in the summer by big clubs and finish 15th or something.
You deserve some credit getting the position of 7 teams spot on. I haven't seen anyone else get near that many right.

In my predictions I had 3 right. City number 1. Villa number 4. And Chelsea number 6. Was one place wrong on Newcastle, Brighton, Bournmouth, and some others

With Brentford you're also neglecting the ridiculous number of injuries (and suspension in the case of Toney), second in minutes missed only to Newcastle. They lost Toney for half a season, Henry for the full season, Pinnock for a massive chunk, Mbeumo for quite a lot, Wissa to the Afcon for a month, they're new forward I've barely seen (can't even remember his name), and Ben Mee for half a season.
That's their best defence and best attackers out for an awful lot of the season. No wonder they were shite. Less injuries and a decent summer, they should do a lot better next year.
I thought United honestly had a good shout at the beginning of the season as the right positions were recruited. But I definitely didn't see all those injuries or the massive drop in form coming for everyone 🥲
Next tme wait until the transfer window is shut before predicting.

Predicting Man Utd finishing 2nd was beyond braindead. Wtf were you watching last season? They got the results but they weren't good last season. Defensively they didn't really concede many but there weaknesses and on top of that they do leak a lot of chances. Many of the results were close one goal wins where they could have dropped points on another day and that is just not sustainable and I did not expect that to change much this season since Ten Hag doesn't seem realise there are serious holes in the way United play. Going forward without Rashford they are useless and Rashford himself is pretty unreliable. Top quality on his day, but his mentality is horrible and his work rate is non existent. When he's not on it, it's like Man Utd are playing with 10 men. I expected United to finish really low and I was right. I predicted 7th but they did one better.
Expecting more from them than Arsenal just makes me lose any respect I even had for you. Do you even watch Arsenal? They may have fell off last season, but they are the closest to City in all of Europe let alone England. If Saliba wasn't injured they would have won the league last season. For whatever reason, people are just living in the past decade when it comes to Arsenal and Arteta. Arteta will become the new Pep going forward. He is Pep's successor and what he is done at Arsenal is just incredible. People are too focused on late Wenger Arsenal which have blindsided them to actually see what is happening at Arsenal right now. They will become the next dominant force in the Premier League once Pep is gone.
im not going to pretend to be a smart ass and say i knew Burnely would suck and be relegated, i thought they'd have a chance at survival however i did not buy the hype before the start of the season that Burnley would do something like Wolves did in their first season in the prem. I found it jarring that people were drooling over Kompany playing burnley like a man city 2.0 which is exactly what got them relegated; they didn't have the players that can play that style of football and like you said Dave; Kompany was too stubborn to change and adapt to the opposition. How he now managed to get a job at Bayern i'll never know, i think that speaks more on Bayern's naivety than Kompany's potential as a manager. For me he showed he didn't have the tactical nouse to handle the premier league just yet. I fear Kompany is going to have a stinker at Bayern next season assuming everything falls in place for him to be the manager (seems like it's going to happen).

You seem like a decent bloke, but its a bit jarring seeing you nodding away to your own past predictions, then making an excuse for almost every one you got wrong, I got this wrong because... manager changes, transfers, injuries etc. It gets tiresome really quickly.
Nobody is expecting you to nail all 20 positions. Half a dozen is impressive enough 👏🏻
