I'm using a map mod to make it look more like HFM.
Decided to play Divergences of Darkness to mix things up. Let me know if you want to see me play this mod again.

Courland is the absolutely most based country with overseas territories, keep up the awesome videos
On the TGC mod theres a feature that allows you to manually migrate pops.
And you could use this feature to BOOST Industrialization, since the amount of pops in a province determines the RGO output
For example, if you played as Spain you could deport all filipinos to the iron mines of Andalusia, and the cubans the coal mines of Northwestern Spain, this way you could become the top producer of those RGO's, while becoming a industrial powerhouse due to the massive population in those provinces.
then you could get more and more colonies and also deport all the pops to the mainland.
And then you could re-settle those colonies with spanish pops
You could also do it for Japan, and deport all koreans to your gold province, which will make you gain an exorbitant amount of money, and then you could re-settlem their peninsula with japanese pops
Yeah, those colonial pops would be way more useful in the mainland
Sounds cool. Ill try out the mod to see what I can do with it in a future video.

I did a The Knights aka Malta playtrough recently in Greater Flavor Mod and i reconquered Jerusalem and reformed The Latin Empire, also i conquered every single island in the Mediterranean and puppeted Iberia and i become one of the strongest Great Powers. It's a very interesting playtrough you should give a try

The exact words of "Latvia" and "Latvians" might not have been used, but there was already a name for us and the territory that predominantly Germans, but also others with their variations, used - Letts and Lettland, which is what Latvia is still known as in German.
This reminds me of that time I got 3 million people in Alaska as Russia.

What the hell is a "curonian"? I'm from the IRL region and curonian as a distinct culture died some time before the crusaders came over.
Well the Duchy of Courland existed IRL up until the third partition of Poland, so my best guess is that since it became independent in this timeline the name of the Duchy/Nation just started to be used to refer to the people as well

what is the map mod?
its basically the HFM map . I had to make it myself because I couldn't find it online. All you have to do is transfer the HFM terrain images to a new mod folder.
