Another brief power outage today (about 5min or so) and the APC didn't miss a beat. So far an excellent investment for me, but it's still early to tell how long this will last

I have been using this device now for about five years. I just replaced the battery for the second time, which is about what they said is normal. I have never had any problems with the unit.

Have the same model without the red letters. Bought it three years ago and this thing has gone to war literally. I live in Puerto Rico, had power outages, power fluctuations, hurricanes, tropical storms etc. This thing has saved my computer and has worked like a champ. The only problem is battery replacement and this has to do with federal regulations and the shipping for these batteries. The battery died yesterday and they don't sell it in regular stores around here. Government needs to understand, that American citizens live in exotic places, they should ease restrictions in shipping batteries. This is as important as medical supplies, food, water etc. Anyway those are my two cents on this review and finally was able to find a replacement at wall-mart. Which I tend to criticize for their trans-nationalist made in china practices, but they are the only ones shipping here.

Thx for the video you convinced me to buy one since the power here in Louisville likes to go out at random times during mid spring or early summer and im tired of my pc going out then back on unexpected.

Thank you! I needed a review of this APC, I need to buy it as an emergency, I think that the batteries are like printer cartridges, they are only for sample :( but it is the only "good" APC that sell in my country. Thanks!

    ***UPDATE FOR 4/29/20***
Well it is now 4/29 a little over a month since I posted this video and it happened!! I got an alarm on the UPS stating that I need to replace the battery. Really? It's barely a month old. Very disappointed and this without a doubt lowers the rating to 3 stars out of 5 for quality. Amazon is sending me a replacement which will be here on 5/2 with no charge. Will keep you updated on how long the replacement lasts, but my confidence is not very high. :-(
