- Hello from Slovenia!
Christmas is coming and I'm trying to do something for my table decoration. I have a lot of wood in my house, and I love it, so I choose wooden background for my poinsettia flower.
I can't wait to see this dry, because I used transparent binder and satin varnish for my background and it will dry clear.
All my paints are mixed with Boessner acrylic binder and Dufa acrylic primer.

The detail is so beautiful! I can’t believe you can take a hammer and make something so delicate looking. Thanks for sharing Fiona
Thank you so much for your kind words 💙
Very pretty
Gorgeous results. For that spot you don't like put a spot of bright green and beside it put a spot of gold and smash them together.
Good idea for the next time. 😉 🌹
Fiona, you never cease to amaze me. This is beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🌹
Amazing Fiona !! 😍🥰🥰🥰💖
Thank you 🌹
Really beautifu.
очень красиво!!!👍❤️
Fiona, this is so very pretty. I've never seen this done before. It made me feel good to see the big hunk of wood. I haven't seen new wood in awhile and I miss it. My husband always had pieces of wood around. He was always working on something. I don't know what he would have done seeing me smashing it with a hammer. Enjoy what you have and be happy Fiona. And yes I want to see more of this, please.
I love wood. We have a lot of wood around a house too, because my partner love to work with it. 😁🌹😘
Gorgeous
Thank you 🌹
Smashing!
That's a weird technique but you created a beautiful painting with it. Love the flowers. The lacing looks like veins in the petals. Thank you Fiona.💖
Thank you 🌹

Wow Fiona! Look what you did!! It is absolutely gorgeous!!! The details are amazing!! (In the close up I thought it kind of looked like 'blooms'. And really nice ones with all the lacing and webbing!) Am I the only one? Gosh. No matter. I just love it! Love, love, love it!
I am for sure going to try this. I would not want to try it on a day I am angry with anyone, tho!! Haha haha haa!! Boom! Smash! Boom!! Haha haha! Just kidding. ;)
I can't wait to see this dry!!!! Hugs!!

Can't wait to see finished product! Maybe you could do one in Christmas merallics. I definitely see endless possibilities! Please do at least one in Christmas metallics and one in your famous red/pink/purple. I mean your favorites.
Very cool, I’ve been wanting to try that.
Fiona....can you go over once again on what products you use to cover the wood before you put the paint on. How do you mix it....what ratio?
You said a binder and varnish....who makes the binder and who makes the varnish and how do you mix them....ratio binder, varnish and water.
Thanks and this is so beautiful. I’m a huge fan of yours! Thanks for sharing your techniques with all of us. 💕
Thank you. I mixed Boessner acrylic binder with Valejjo polyurethane satin varnish in 10:1 ratio and add water to consistency. 😉 🌹 😘
Fiona Art Thanks Fiona for the answer to my question. I’m gonna try it out. Have a great day! 😘
I love to play beautiful colors❤️
Fiona that is very different, but it is beautiful, love it.❤️🇨🇦
Thanks 🌹
That is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have seen hammer smashes before and done one. Usually they are very uninteresting to me. I think I might have to try another. I wonder what the difference would be with a rubber mallet.
Thank you. I can't wait to see how this will dry. 😍
What a fantastic idea! Your so clever! It's gorgeous! Definitely do more. This will look beautiful on your table at Christmas time! Can I come over? 😁 You have to make me birthday cake as it is my birthday too 😁 Hugs 😀💜🐨🤗😚🎄
Thank you. If you will come, you will get a cake. 😉 🌹 😘
@@Fiona-Art Oooh thank you my friend. I wish I could just drop in at Christmas time...maybe one day😊❤
You are a big school
🌹
Only found your channel a couple of days ago, so I've got a lot of catching up to do! This is gorgeous, Fiona!
Thank you and welcome to my youtube family 🌹 🤗 😘
🤦♂️🤦♂️al verla con el martillo pensé que iba a romperlo todo.
Un trabajo bonito..🙃
👍👍👍💖💖💖
Hi Fiona
I just love the peonsettia an then the smashing of the cd.'s. Are they for sale?
Thank you. I did them for my Christmas tree, but maybe I can do some for sale 😉 🌹 😘
Sorry to return...you could scrape the part you dislike and retry again.♥️♥️♥️
I didn't want to, because my basecoat will dry transparent and I was affraid that I will ruin it. 🥴🌹
It is different. It sort of looks like jellyfish.
What is the black thing you go back & forth over picture after smashing? Dryer, water or?
It's a torch 😉
what was the product you used for the background white that dries clear?
It's Boessner acrylic binder 😉
thanks Fiona. if I can't get that brand I presume any acrylic binder that dries clear would do.
👍👍👍💙
