My work here is actually based on the work I have done. In the field.
The other clovis points I found on this site.....and the tools. Should be on display in the Smithsonian.
If I do a Video on Ice age North America. I will show the items I found..............my work.
And i sure as hell wont buy HUGE amounts of views and subscribers to try and look more IMPORTANT than i am to an online audience.
Straight Up. You should be earning $10.00 or more per 1000 views on the uploads you are producing. I am...on anything like this...........
You are not even in that REALM of PAY.
This is also ALL..........Eroded displaced material. This is archaeological salvage to be exact. I must get the items before they wash away into the river and are destroyed. I dont dig into sites. And if I did............I would have a TEAM doing it right.
What are you here for? So you can go brag about your youtube channel at the local pub?
Who's material/content are you really using? Then buying views on?
It sure as hell is not from your field work. You are essentially just COPYING someone elses LIFES work. Putting it into video form. Then buying views and subscribers to look important online.
      I find that amusing.
You shoudl think about what you are doing.

.My great friend. Of course those Clovis and Folsom points are the best my friend, but all those serrated pieces are masterfully beautiful. Amos, Palmer, drills, pointed knives Amos wow. I knew you had something like this and as you say it's only part of it. I was glad to be with you and see so much lithic beauty. I don't know if you saw the Clovis we found here recently, it was an incredible find. Our first Clovis. A great greeting to a great friend. BLESSINGS ALWAYS. TAKE CARE, FRIEND.

Loving the show of the points you found. I want to make a frame but a nice wooden one with glass. Riker case is nice. Dont get me wrong. Only question is how to mount them but still be able to see the opposite side? Maybe freestanding that can be viewed from both sides. I have loads of stuff too. Not going to put a nutting stone in a case. Hard to display some of the larger things. I hate sitting artifacts in the corner. Disrespectful.

I bought several wall-mounted mirrored glass shelves, enclosed in a wood frame, with plexiglass double doors on the front.
I "mount" my artifacts on clear plastic stands, of which I bought large & small sizes.
You can see the backs of (most of) the finds without opening the plexiglass doors, due to the mirrored backs.
Larger, oddly shaped artifacts (ie, Poverty Point cooking balls) are sat directly on the shelves.
I've had mine on the walls for years - so far, no problem. They hold a lot of weight if they're mounted correctly.
Got em off of Amazon FYI.
      Hope it helps you out!
Would love to see your finds😁

What a thrill it must be to be the first to touch a point in 13,000 years. We don't have points that old where I'm from. And what a frame that is. I could look at it for hours.

I've been subscribed since about 400-700, I remember many of those. They're all stunning. You were turning them a lot back then. Most people don't recognize your expertise in points. Unmatched IMO. Thanks, Rocks. Always smokin'.

I love all the things you find, Rocks, but these artifacts are what drew me to your channel. It's mindblowing, to think of how many years have passed since the creation of these points.❤

See my 13000-10000 years old collection from the Netherlands. Google Perdeck Collection.
Not so much arrowheads, it was a place where they lived some time, so lots of tools for hide scraping and bone/antler working.Lots of debris. In total 8000 pieces of flint. Took me 20 years collecting.

You should get one of those Nokta Metal detectors. I am serious man....if you learn to use one of those, And metal detect all those big fields you walk. You will find INSANE stuff. And it is EASY. You will get all the videos you want after you learn the detector

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  8 місяців тому +2

If you then can get some of your family members into the detecting to go with you.........it is double the finds....and a video every trip. There could be a can of gold coins right in one of those fields

I found a late paleo quad point where a new pond was being dug on a peice of ground above the Warrior and Tyty creeks convergence point in South Georgia. Does it mean we had a Paleo site here?????????????
