The system also contains a digital dimmer control with black panel-mount knob, and detailed installation instructions and clear wiring diagram. I bought the Crazed Pilot LED lighting system from you guys. My dimmer control box is much bigger than the one in the video, easily twice that size and twice the wires.
The unit has been re-engineered and upgraded since the filming of the first version roughly 10 years ago as it now includes and integrated power control function in the switch.

yea don't we all - the dimming lets you control them clear down to full darkness, or as early as sunset....

aircraft panel lights in LED should be really low power consumption on light sport aircraft i like the looks of these.
Wouldn't red be preferrable? And while the lights did a good job on the top instruments, they don't seem (in this video, at least) to light the lower instruments. Great concept, tho.
Red AND Blue are available on our website. They light the lower instruments sufficiently, there's no good mounting on most aircraft except the panel glare shield, so that's where the light source must go. Fly safe! -Jill, CRAZEDpilot.com, Inc.

Yea, these consume less than an amp for a full 5ft flexible cockpit lighting strip.
