I think a aspect you didn't touch on here is how the ACE stacks up against the M416 now post yet another M4 nerf, any thoughts about that? And secondly, picking M4 with lightweight or thumb grip, quick draw mag for -60% reload time and a heavy stock, you end up with a weapon that outperforms the AUG by quite a bit in the handling department.
Still prefer M4 with full attachments.
I also noticed Aug kicks up more than m4.

This is coming from the guy who will end up picking a P92 pistol, kill 15 players, take a sip of water and say "good warmup". Legend!

Don't underestimate my favorite weapon on pubg I also run a glock in semi auto because who the heck puts an auto switch on a glock anyway it's silly. Take a gas can and throw that into the second story window gas pours inside the top floor and pours outside the window soaking the ground outside as well shoot that gas can with your p92 hipfire skills and your a gonna enjoy that kill everytime. Also, gas cans explode sending shrapnel everywhere so if you just drop one nearby it will also blow Up soon after creating a nice sound concealer for your ambush. Also, even use that smoke grenade breach technique to get them to run away or even outside and leaving your team to crush the retreat attempt dead in it's tracks. Get that Dinner 🍽️
@@GodfatherRobert The automatic Glock really exists, it's the Glock 18, the same one from the game, and it's not as bad an idea as you think, if it wasn't useful it wouldn't have been created.
The AUG is also far shorter in length as its Bullpup, this helps conceal yourself when shooting from windows or laying prone

It also has a higher bore axis and you’re more likely to muzzle it on window sills or cover. It’s not as bad as the Groza but it’s noticeable.
3:12 the shakiness of the aug mentioned here is so true. That's one of the biggest reasons why I'm now preferring the M4. Similar recoil means much less when you're having to deal with a much more shaky uncontrollable camera.

Great work thanks, I tend to just stick with whichever I find first, but wow, that reload speed difference is insane!
I'm worried about the sample size for the horizontal recoil conclusion. I tried to do something similar with the G36C and M416 and with a sample size of 5 or 10 (full mag dumps) I found huge differences in horizontal recoil. Those differences completely vanished after taking 50 full mag dumps. I can assure you the M416 is capable of horrendous horizontal spread just as the AUG or G36C are! I eventually gave up on my own comparison video as it was too much work and I didn't have the skills to analyse the data I collected.

I agree with finding, do prefer AUG to close quarters (up to 40m) as it simply shreds and M416 for longer. It will vary map to map, terain etc. I do think supressed AUG sounds awesome so that maybe that. Let us know another crazy race day 👍
Yeah, M416 is still can be really useful for AR + EMT gear loadout. Much simpler to tap with a scope on

One advatange of ther AUG nobody ever brings up, is the shorter barrel length, which means it won't get caught on cover as easily, and makes moving around tight corners in combat less janky.

For some reason a 2x scope feels much more accurate with the aug than a red dot while spraying.

2xs are king for all assault rifles. Beryl and Ace are far better with a 2x as well.
Red Dot is only for smgs

Oddly I've had several occasions using the Aug since world spawn that it felt so good you could almost confuse it for aim assist. I've been getting kills faster than I expect to, by what feels like a bullet or two. Could just be that I subconsciously prefer the handling of course.

Anyone can tell within a few games that the M4 is still better than the AUG. But maybe that's just imo ;p Also w/ the reload speed, in your video the animation was done/completed on the M4 while the AUG was still doing an animation for reloading, so how is the AUG faster? That was a tad confusing.

You should also consider that you need one more item to fully equip the m4 compared to the aug (tac Stock) great Video how ever!

@@tappajaav TY.. this is what I mostly use to run.. but latelly I have seen most of the streamers changing to a different setup.. mostly replacing the vert for a Thumb Grip. or half grip.. perhaps there was a chenge on the attachments and I did not know.. (very casual player here)
@@jeancn Yeah vertical grip got nerfed. Hard to say what's best attachment now, but it's still solid choice for ARs

Miffed by the AUG changes at first, but come to find (in my opinion) the vertical recoil feels greatly reduced with the half grip, been swaying and praying a lot of enemies down since then 🎉😊
Why does the reload comparison show the M4 back on target faster?
AUG is a very cool weapon. My favorite TOP 3 beside the ACE and the M249

@@WackyJacky101 yeah, but it would be good to see them on the Aug, I don't think you have that in your channel.
You need to test with half, & angled grip.
I'm no longer using the Vert grip as my go to grip any more.
I haven't tested it with the recent AUG changes... but I always put an angled grip on the AUG when I got it from a crate. To me it always had this weird side to side bounce when spraying and the angled grip seemed to help mitigate that.

Please take a look at the reload speed again, the left hand is quicker on the grip of the M4 than the AUG during a reload due to the extra (slapping the AUG) animation, does this not effect the overall reload speed?

That shaky thing is a real problem with the AUG, i just cant play with it. It seems like everything around the scope frame is shaking super fast and i cant understand what is happening around because of it. I think it is called visual recoil in some games. So only m4 for me. Thank you for the great content!
maybe its because the characters face would be sitting right over top of the chamber just like a real aug its pretty rattling of an experience compared to non bullpup .223 gun were the round goes off much farther from youre face
Question for Wacky: if you would use only 1 gun in the game (with a pistol) which was would be, no matter the map?
And what alternative you would use in the other gun slot?

I think the M4 feels speedier on the ADS speed with the Tac Stock. All the ADS in this game is fast but playing a bit of COD makes me obsess about ADS speed. This new patch looks like a good time to focus on some PUBG.
Time to kill works only if you hit the target. My bullets "disappears" so i use massive use nades and i would use flamerthrower
Get a half grip on the Aug and it just slays!
Make a custom game. 50 with aug only vs 50 with m4 only. Would be awesome to see some stats from there

I don't use it. cause it gets hard to find ammo for it towards the end of the match, where main source loot is a loot of your enemies.
I had been away from the game for a bit on a vacation and came back to the Aug in the world easily findable. I thought, oh yea, I have heard this thing is awesome - not being great at geeting crates I literally had zero kills with it in years of playing. So I took it and.....nah. I struggle enough with recoil control I tend to prefer smg's because although slower I hit more shots so they are more effective for me than ARs. So yea, not actively seeking out Augs and this kinda confirmed it for me.
Always got the m4 and ak, but would always prefer the aug cuz it looks coool

Heavy stock is crap, it’s worse than tac stock
Can you add different foregrips to testing in your future videos? Vertical foregrip is not this widespread nowadays

I'm gonna use the ACE instead. I'm still learning because this AR is insane.
I like the ACE too. The only real drawbacks are lesser bullet velocity and higher ammo's weight. It's just easier to have enough 5.56 ammo and still have room for grenades. And the Mini14 is also easier to complete than SLR (need cheek pad and ext. mag).
Been playing and watching this game since day one and have always found it kinda sad that you can't trade kills. 😢😢😢
i like the m4 better but i lucked into getting that dope new aug skin with the tickets you get from daily logins so now i feel like i have to get good with it lol

As the Aug is now a world spawn the scar is pointless should change it a 7.62 lower the mag size to 20 DMG should be same as AKM.
this is quiet a good idea , since scar-l is avoided by all. Scar-h tho with 762 would be intriguing to witness in babag

I feel mentioning that hours spent using M4 is big deal. The other day I switched to Ak over Aug just because I was confident with it.
I wish games like this had firearms advisors. A rifle with a shorter barrel (like AUG in the game) will produce less bullet velocity
For me, with Aug on global drop, Scar L is useless right now. Neef buff on Scar L damage and some nerf on Aug recoil
Just replace it with a Scar17 or Scar20, problem solved

ohhh, so the reload is the big difference, i was testing them both in the training, but concluded they are both very similar. but the reload speed is truly a big difference.
Fun fact: the way player love tap the AUG when reloading can actually cause malfunctions
Scar L is now 2 more damage per bullet than the m4? how is it compared to M4 and AUG now?

AUG + THUMB GRIP + COMP + HOLO = Devastation. Seriously. It takes a bit to get used to the recoil, but once you get it....this is a beast setup. The ADS speed feels like an SMG, and as WJ said, the reload speed (even better with a Quick Draw or Extended Quick Draw)...this is just unbeatable inside of 50 meters. Run this setup with a Mini-14 or MK-12 and you are good to go.
everyone shits on the holo, but IMO it reduces the camera shake in full auto fire compared to the red dot

To b honest I agree with u. Feels like once Aug became a world spawn it's handling isn't quite as gud as e m4. So it's still the m4 for me.

I get the whole game balance thing, but it’s annoying that a bull pup reloads faster than an M4. IRL bull pups are generally significantly slower to reload.
