    loved our sire and new tent…was awesome. Gonna post a video of how we stayed warm at night. Mesh ceilings are something to deal with in the cold to hold heat. We figured it out. Stay tuned.

    I love your video very detail. When I was glamping late fall, I found a way to keep the heat in the tent. Between your rain fly and the mesh net put a tarp saw it on another video, and it works.

      Hello there, I know this is a video on the older side but I wanted to ask what tarp do you use for the mesh ceiling? If you could provide a link that would be much appreciated! Thank you and happy camping

    How has it held up in the rain?

      We sealed and sprayed the tent. We had one huge rain and wind and he tent held up well. We did buy extra steaks to set it up. I hope you enjoy. This is a great tent for camping for a long period. We use it for 7-10 days. This was perfect.

    great video ! very informative !! thank you !! i was wondering if someone would be able to live in a tropical climate (mostly sunny, humid, and a rainy season) for a year, full time?

      Good question. I think it’s fine in warmer weather. It get in the 90’s here. I would definitely advise AC….and there are ways to cover the mesh using Mylar if you need to. We used it to hold in air and heat at one point. If it’s rainy…please seal and protect the tent very well. We sealed and protected this tent before we went camping and had a bad rain storm one night. The poles hold up well with stronger steaks. We bought those separate. The tent stayed super dry…no leaks. No water came in at all….the storm was horrible. Surprised really how well this tent holds up. I hope I helped you with that. Anything else….just ask. Thank you.

    Can u tell me if this has shower hookup?

      It has a place to hang a shower bag…but I personally don’t think the tent would hold that weight. I use it as a night restroom. And a room to get dressed in. It a big room for a shower. We just haven’t figured out quite yet.

    Wondering what are the size of the carpet for the front room and main rooms .

      The main room is approximately 6’ wide by 21’ long. We just put a 7’x5’ plastic carpet from academy on the front porch and in front of the tent. They are super easy to clean. We found the carpet for inside the main room at Lowe’s. It’s one of their cheaper outdoor carpet styles.

    Hey i also live in the Upstate and have been looking into getting this tent to live in for a few month while house is being build. Any tips from owning beside what’s in video? Also whats the watts on your heaters and fans? those look big i’m assuming 1500 watts? thanks for videos!

      Hi Dylan…sorry for the late response. My husband had to help with this. This is a excellent roomie tent to live in comfortably. 1500 watts on a heater. And the AC is 115 volt. Everything we use is on a 3 prong standard outlet. We did buy a 30amp plug that has 3 standard plugs off of it. We use the electric given at the site. Thanks for your question.

      Another suggestion is to make sure you seal and protect this tent. We have been in some terrible rain storms and wind. No water comes in at all….except a little in the bathroom. We also bought some stronger steaks to make it more sturdy.

    How does this tent do in rainy or windy weather?

    • @tentcampingadventureswithh3298
      @tentcampingadventureswithh3298  2 роки тому +2

      Our first trip back in April was extremely windy…..and it held up great. We tied everything down super tight. We did use different more stronger stakes to set it up. We bought those separate. Just in case…it does help. This last time in June….we had one night of heavy rainfall. We did seal and spray this tent down well. We had no water come in at all. I was surprised…at this tent and how well it held up. The only thing that got wet was the bathroom floor due to the mesh at the bottom and placed tarps underneath the tent. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking a question.
