Swap rates have just increased which means we will see a little increase in rates coming, however the Bank of England meet 7th November and have hinted they will drop rates more aggressively if inflation stays the same.

Thank you. Do you think government should cap the income multiple at 5x? Allowing 6x might help some buyers in the short-term but it will inevitably increase debts and prices over the long-term
I completely hear what your saying, but with cost of living out of control I think we need to keep up somehow and I feel other lenders will increase their multiples too. I believe it’s a good move.

I didn't quite understand the stamp duty changes. I'm hoping to purchase a £430k house before March 2025. How much stamp duty will I need to pay?
