OMG! I can't wait! The little kid in me is losing it! And the bird? Whatttt? PLEASE TAKE MY $$$ Congrats on the progress! Your team has done some amazing work!!
You guys are so cool I have always been fascinated with animatronics but I didn’t know what I was doing and it wasn’t in my budget thank you so much keep it up!!!!
Just noticed, quite a few typos and misspellings in the assembly instructions. Also noticed, while assembling his jaw, the 'L' shaped linkage that goes from the servo extender, to his jaw, the assembly video for that step is never shown. It's skipped right over and goes immediately to the next step.
This is great news! I would be interested in just getting the kit as is and purchase the cover at a later date. My 8 year old is fascinated with animatronics. I've been looking for a suitable kit to get started.
Thanks for the kind words! And the "cover free" kit is a lot of the reason we're making the parrot! We've gotten good at manufacturing the internal parts, but are still working to find the right way to get Louie's silicone skins done. So the parrot skips all that, and is made out of the parts we know how to make quickly and easily! We hope to have both Louie and the unnamed parrot out soon! :)
Can you use the software to animate characters that I design myself? This is great! I’ve always wanted to make an animatronic Chuck E Chese style character this looks simple enough even for me! You earned a sub!
Absolutely excited for this project to continue and waiting patiently to see where it goes! Good luck getting the silicone figured out! Here's my suggestion for a name for the bird. Since it's a parrot and I immediately think of pirates and parrots, how about Skelly or Captain? Skelly might fit better, since it's a 'bare-bones' kit. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see the next update!
Can bottango be set to control a pin on an Arduino that actuates a solenoid to make movement via a pneumatic cylinder in time with an audio clip? In lieu of servo movements. Thanks in advance.
This is so cool!! Is all of this free to learn online?? Awesome if it is!! Im getting into robotics/animatronics and programming! Im a beginner like on the very first steps of learning python, but im very interested in this! Especially when it comes to building and designing!
Would you be willing to share or sell the fusion 360 file? I would love it so I can customize it and create my own version. Obviously I wouldn’t sell it or distribute it, just use it for my own project and 3d print it. Amazing design by the way! Waiting for this vid for so long!!
Will you be selling 3d print schematics? I imagine the trickiest part is finding manufacturing and then also shipping physical products to people, but if you sold the 3d files themselves that would cut a lot of those costs down.
Man, can't wait to see more of Louie and more animatronics!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!! :D👍

Perfect timing for me to get into this, I'm 15 an just got myself invested into animatronic robotics. I cannot wait for this project to be released ❤

Pleassse when is it going to be released? i want one!!!!!
You should name the bird Chuck!
can this be use to in a pneumatic animatronics?
Want one ✅
Can this software work with pneumatic cylinders and actuator's? Or is that coming soon?
I would like a anamorphic I could costume as anything I want. Eyes, Mouth, neck and arm movement

Site seems to be down (fyi). I will check back!

Yes, Check out on/off custom events, can control pins, etc and animate digital as opposed to analog state.
@@Bottango Thank you!! ❤️😎
@@Rousecakes fyi the Bottango discord is very active and the best way to get support if you have more questions :)
