Sounds like it has some of the same problems as Coldplay's a head full of dreams documentary. As soon as they get to Mylo Xyloto it's like they hit fast forward and wanted to get to the end.

I haven’t seen the doc. Since you mentioned the memes towards the end, I saw Nickelback last year. Before they played Photograph, Chad started listing off different memes we might’ve known that song from and there was a couple behind me wearing matching “look at this graph” shirts
Do we get to find out if there are any Nickleback fans in Portugal?
From the sounds of it, Todd In The Shadows’ TrainWreckords episode on No Fixed Address goes into more on that era than this actual documentary does.
Also, there are a few songs on that album I don’t mind, namely Million Miles An Hour and The Hammer’s Coming Down.
I actually didn’t see the doc myself, but as for Nickelback themselves, I too think they’re a solid dumb fun banger machine kind of band to vibe out to (and I still stand by that all the right reasons and dark horse are both pretty great in their own right).
I know I’ve said this many times but I’m low key DYING to see that Nickelback ranked video soon, haha

I listened to all of their albums and there are songs that I was like why haven’t I heard this song it’s amazing sure some songs weren’t the best but they have a lot of good ones I created a playlist with songs that I like by them I have like 70 songs and alot of days I’m jamming out driving jamming out to their music
I thought about seeing that doc when it premiered at TIFF 2023 but my itinerary got too busy.
i never have and likely never will understand the over the top hate Nickelback have gotten. sure, they've got some absolute stinkers, but they've also made some genuinely great material! contemplating watching this documentary now

Jon please read you gotta listen to this beautiful new Kings of Leon track “Split Screen” just released today from their upcoming album ‘Can We Please Have Fun’ and do a video review of it. It so emotional you can hear it. It had me think when are we going to wake up to brighter day can I run hide escape all the darkness the clarity in the world run hide from it and wake up to a brighter day. Caleb’s vocals are excellent beautiful very emotional. It made me cry. That’s what came to mind it’s so powerful. It hits hard but in a good way. It beautiful. You gotta listen to it and see for yourself. Please do a review video and your thought on it.

I like some of Nickelback's songs, but albums wise the only good one throughout is The State. I liked Feed the Machine well enough but aside from that Nickleback or has mediocre/above average albums or straight up stinkers. Sorry but Curb, Dark Horse and No Fixed Adressed are just not good. I think over all Nickelback is an above average band, they don't deserve the hate, but they don't deserve that much of a praise either, especially musically. They are great people though.
I think at this point Nickleback is basically a Meme Band.
