      In 3rd person singular you add the letter "s" to the end of the verb. Not she talk, but she talks

    In the first few seconds, she used an American "good" and a British "good" right next to each other. But her English is phenomenal, i have no issues understanding

      I’m a native English speaker and they’re similar but not the same.
      If you get stood up it just means someone no showed to your plans. They might message you or might not.
      If you get ghosted they won’t show up and also they won’t message you.

    as a french native speaker, I knew already "ghost" and "on fleek" because we use this idioms also between us in France for exactly the same meaning. My neighbour (woman) was a friend and she said ever me "I'm so on fleek" to mean I'm very beautiful today / my outfit and my make up are perfect today

    I thought "bet" meant the opposite. Like saying "wanna bet?" when you want to prove someone wrong.

    The way I've heard bet used was more as an agreement to conditions discussed, or as a means to agree to disagree.
    "I think I'm better than you at X" - alright, bet.
    "We're gonna meet up at 6 pm" - bet.
    It also makes no sense or connection to wager.

    American here, but speaking English from a half century ago. Most of the idioms were comprehensible, but three were completely opaque: fleek, no cap, and that (out)fit goes hard. Thanks for opening a door! Knowing its etymology helps me: "fleek" was just made up! "No cap" comes from a contest of escalating insults, known as capping.

    2_ Lit(erally);
    3_No cap(tions): No need to read a different meaning;
    4_(You can) bet .... something is that way;
    5_Throwing shadow, someone's really darkening other's light.
