As a pregnant stay at home mom of two children under 3 whose husband worksan average of 65+ hours a week I am blown away by how much knitting you get done in a year. And so envious 😭
@@rebekahvanslooten6004 oh my dear! Don’t compare! I’m in a phase of life where I have the time and circumstances. Next year I might not. I certainly didn’t feel like I did when my oldest children were babies and I was pregnant. I just keep my yarn with me and knit any minute I have to spare. But I encourage you keep it as relaxing hobby and a treat so it continues to offer that to you. I’ve made this my full time job as a content creator so it looks different for me. And I will say it doesn’t always offer the relaxation it once did because so much of it is for work now. I hope this helps your feelings!
I enjoy watching these yearly recap of knitted items along with your comments about each one. I appreciate that you show us how they fit on you as well. Amazing number of items you've knit in one year - I don't know how you do it! My favorite item I knit last year was the test knit for the Old Rose Wrap by Lisa Hannes.
Thank you for another amazing podcast. Not fed up with looking at lovely knits. You are such a beautiful knitter and I so enjoy watching your podcast x my favourite knit like you was the pressed flower shawl and I’m itching to knit another. X
This was the very first time seeing your video. I loved it, can’t wait to see more. I want to do your sweater video next.Thank you so much, you are so sweet.
My Fav make? My Framed sweater! 😄 also loved the mosaic hat I knit. I was also very happy with the crochet blanket I finished for a special Christmas gift. And my September Woods Socks. I loved seeing your knits and crochet!
Oh my knitty heart! Wow Kaci! What an incredible PILE OF SQUISHY GOODNESS!! Your yarn choices and colours are second to none Kaci. Incredibly beautiful work and heirloom pieces. The way you style the knits with your sewn garments is next level. Cannot wait to see what you get up to in 2025!! Your Party Line scarf was such a delight and I plan on making one this year in my handspun. You were a big inspiration behind me even trying spinning. My favourite make of 2024 was the Cocktail Cardigan by Tricot Design MCL.
Loved the round up, even though I’ve been watching throughout the year, it was nice to see and hear your thoughts about the items ❤happy making in 2025!!
Your color choices are giving Shire vibes and I'm so here for it!! I love watching these kinds of videos because I get great ideas for what to knit in the coming year, what colors/yarn suggestions, and styling tips in the photos. As a new mom, I've been looking to change up my wardrobe and I use your style as inspiration to be both stylish and comfortable.
I loved seeing your year in review! One of my favorite makes this year was my Galway Shawl from The Wool Barrow. It was so much fun to knit and so big and cozy, I wear it all the time! Your video also reminded me I haven't made your Party Line scarf yet!! I need to do that soon 😊
I really enjoyed this video 😊 I especially appreciate your honest reflections on how you feel about a garment or accessory now that you’ve had some time to wear it. Can’t wait to see what you do in 2025!
Whew, I totally understand the overwhelm, but I just finished editing and posting my 2024 video and I DO actually find it super helpful and yours was SO inspiring! I just adore you and your makes. Thanks so much for sharing. Happy New Year and big hugs from California!
I love watching these videos-they always get me excited to try new patterns and ideas. It’s so cool seeing what others make and how they bring projects to life. I really appreciate the feedback on the knits and yarn people use because it helps me figure out what might work for my projects. It’s just awesome to feel connected to others who love knitting as much as I do.
Love round up videos- so inspiring. Thank you. My favourite make to wear was also the Celeste sweater in peer gynt. My greatest achievement was completing Fairisle club 9 (Ottoman jacket) by Marie Wallin - all over fingering weight colourwork in different directions with multiple steeks. I’d never done that before but Marie’s videos were so helpful. Still can’t believe I finished it! Happy 2025- hope it’s a great year for you.
My favorite was the Quill Sweater, my first color work. For 2025 I have the Felix Sweater on my list and received a gift of Noro yarn and I have a sweater I just love so this will be an exciting knitting year for me. Thank you for your inspiring videos!
Such beautiful knits in such lovely yarns and colors! Thanks for sharing the inspiration. I also really appreciate your opinions on the yarn and pattern/knitting experience. My 3 favorite makes of 2024 were the stick season sweater (creabea) , the Colette pullover (Sari) and the tendriel sweater (knit purl girl). 2025 is going to be my year of color work. Looking forward to making a lumme and a geometer sweater
This collection was so surprising to me. Beautiful knits Kaci! Some of the colors were difficult to see due to some shadowing, but they all looked beautiful. I thought you had been having some difficulty finishing your knits from watching an earlier episode, but wow! You really knocked the knits out! Prolific knitting! Happy 2025
Thank you! I actually was having a bit of a slump but I’m glad I managed to get some things done in the end! I won’t show you my stack of unfinished knits haha
Thank you for this episode. It was fun to see all of your knits and discover 'new-to-me' patterns. I appreciate your honesty in sharing how each finished sweater worked out for you.
I love these types of videos, especially when the knits are in colors that I would wear. My favorite knit last year was probably my Step by Step Sweater in Nero Ito - first pattern I finished after learning to knit in fall of 2023.
I also knitted Pohjola pullover last spring using Isager highland wool which is light fingering weight yarn. I love to wear it. I also knitted a vaaka cardigan in malabrigo sock and it has stripes in silkmohair. It´s so light weight (170 g) and I love to wear it. I live in a very cold climate and I love knitted garments that I can wear under my coat and which I can wear also at work. We do have central heating everywhere so I can´t wear thick pullovers inside. Maybe outdoors during warmer autumn and spring days and cold summer evenings but they are not the garments that get much use.
such a fun reflection on a beautiful year of knits Kaci! I’m very happily getting cozy with all of these “everything I made” videos from my favorites comfort creators - even though I watched literally all the podcast episodes throughout the year 😅🥰💗 also like you said, discovering some ‘new-to-me’ channels, it’s such a good way to get a feel for someone’s style. your Framed sweater blows me out of the water - I don’t think I’ll ever knit it but it’s one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever seen! 🥰
I love a good “everything I made” video! My favorite knit of the year was my Pressed Flowers Cardigan. I used handspun for the flowers and I love it! Definitely can’t wait to see yours 🧶
I'm so glad I came across your channel recently. Your knitting is inspirational! I would say my favorite knit this year is a sweater by Petiteknit. Simple by very nice looking. which I will get a lot of wear out of.
I’m NOT sick of these videos at all!!! They are so helpful and fun. I’m wondering how you become a test knitter? Any tips you could share is appreciated. Thanks for making videos and sharing. 💗🐑💗🧶
I follow my favorite knitters on Instagram and they usually post calls for test knits there or send emails out! I will say that I have a relationship with a few designers from years of knitting and content creation so I get asked if I would be interested in testing quite a few patterns. But I think signing up for email notifications and also Instagram notifications when the designers post - is your biggest way to increase chances of seeing test knits
You have been certainly working on stunning projects. And I love the way you style them as well. I enjoyed watching your podcast as I knit a new project on my needles. Looking forward to what this year will bring for you... on a side note, I am so so tempted to get a Makers Journal!!!!!!!!
I also really enjoy the 'everything I knit' videos! What a stack of lovely knits, Kaci! My pile of knits was a lot more modest, but my favourite was my Sophisticate cardigan by Linden Down. It was exactly what I was looking for and turned out really well, so I've been wearing it a lot.
You should be so proud of your accomplishments this year! My favorite knit was the CP05 V-Neck sweater by Minimi Knits. I knit it in the recommended yarn, Touch Me Mohair by WAK, and it is like a luxurious cloud. I can’t wait to make more in different colors ❤
For light tops, get a matching color sports bra…I hang both together on the same hanger lol, it’s a set. Lovely choices this last year! I might have to make a few! lol ❤
Hi Kaci! I have watched a number of 2024 “Everything I Made” podcasts, and your collection is definitely the most beautiful I have seen. I so admire your choices of intricate patterns, beautiful yarns and stunning color choices! I have been wanting to try Double Sunday, but have heard various reports about pilling. How has it held up for you? I think my favorite knit from this year was my Lunenburg Pullover by Amy Christoffers that I knit in 6 warm-toned colorways of Rauma Finull. Happy New Year to you and your family!
I think my favorite knit was the Sorn Cardigan by Carol Feller. I used a very rustic Canadian marled yarn from Wild in the Woods and I just love how coat and comfortable it is.
@ I meant to say comfy and cosy but I think you got it 😊 You made so many lovely things and that isn’t even what you sewed! I really liked the quilted jacket you made.
Vey basic, but what I tell any new knitter I meet is to buy a big box of light bulb stitch markers. I mark increases/decreases, every tenth row on sleeves and socks, marking lace or pattern repeats, and so much more. Also, if I need motivation and to see progress they also work as a minimalistic snag-free progress keeper. However, I already feel that my new interchangeable ChiaGoo set will be my 2025 favourites 😊
What lovely garments and accessories you have knitted this past year! I often wonder how many get used by fellow knitters so it's good to hear your input! My favorite knit was the Tolsta Tee by Rebecca Clow, I will definitely be making more of those! My favorite crochet piece actually took a year to complete is the Weave It Sweater by Tatsiana! It's a crochet brioche yoke that was fun to create. It's thick and warm and cozy!
Thank you for your videos, Kaci! Everything is beautiful. I took inspiration from you and made a Felix with noro Madara this year as well and enjoyed every stitch. Favorite makes were probably Into the Wild by Tania Barley and the love letter top by Kutovakika. I was so proud of that one! I also made a stripe hype with color inspiration from beautiful book cover art. So fun finding the right yarns for that one (cover was from By Any Other Name by Jodi Picoult)
Your Paulie cardigan is really pretty and nice that it's not superwash yarn (also love your boots) All your color choices are soothing. I want to try the merino cotton blend yarn you used on Hey Sailor.
Hello Kaci, thank you for sharing! I went over and bought the lumme sweater, and to my surprise, she had a T-shirt version of it! That's great and I am already starting to think spring.😄
You are so prolific and talented!! Beautiful beautiful creations!! I wish I could say my Yume tee was my favorite but I haven’t quite finished it so that makes my 12Days of Knitmas Shawl by Nomadic Knits my 2024 favorite. Sitting here in Hot Springs knitting and watching it snow!! You know that doesn’t happen very often for us. Just love it!! ❄️❄️❄️
So happy to see the finished Paulie cardigan. I’m in North Carolina and have finally come to grips with the fact that super warm knits are just not suitable for our climate. I’ve worn my cotton and merino sweaters a ton and my thicker knits have been untouched. Could you possibly do a video detailing your favorite yarns that are more suited for the southern climate?
Hey, just stick with the blends like the silk wool blends. The cotton wool blends linen wool blends. Those would be good for the warmer climates bamboo all the plant fibers the silks and the linens.
That’s a great idea! I have a summer knits video roundup and I also share my favorite warm weather yarns in it! You might get some new yarn ideas by checking it out
My favourite knit from ‘24 - well it’s a toss up between 2 cardigans - Artisane and the Tessellated Cardigan. But I also had great success with Petite Knits’s Poppy tee that I knit in wide stripes with long sleeves in KFO cotton merino ❤and also her Maggie Cardigan : all great to wear.
Happy New Year Kaci...love this video and all your beautiful knits. Your colorwork sweaters are so gorgeous and you always choose my kind of colors. I am not a fast knitter so my completed knits are small but my proud moment this year was knitting the Pelica Vest by Rosa Pomar. A very interesting construction but I enjoyed the knit and the results were perfect. I tend to stick to small knits like gloves and hats for colorwork so I definitely have a few of those I love. My goal this year is to keep better track of my knitting and was gifted a knitting notebook. Thanks for always being so generous with your time.
I love these videos... and so happy to watch yours! My favorite make of the year has been the Gabi Blouse by LeKnit. I don't see many of them but I think it's such a beautiful pattern with a little puff sleeve and slightly different neckline. :)
I love these what I knit videos! They are so fun to see. Although I do get a bit embarrassed by my FO pile compared to my WIPs pile 😅 I don’t have many FOs from the past year. Most are still WIPs, but I did finish my very first cardigan ever just before the end of the year and I’m very proud of that!
I loved seeing all you knit in 2024! You are such a prolific knitter that everyone can get inspiration from something you made in this past year. I think I’m going to make Florence’s cardigan with Noro yarn. It’s been years since I knit wi5h Nero, but it looks so beautiful in the Noro that I’m going to purchase yarn. I only bought yarn for one of my sweaters in 2024. Maybe this will be my only outside purchase in 2025. I think it will be perfect and warrants going past my stash to get exactly what I want. I love your podcast and admire all you do. Did God give you extra hours in your day? lol.
Love this video. A tip for your tops that may be a little more open, always wear a nude color bra, it will make all the difference. Kinda the same thing as nude panties under white linen pants or shorts.
I love your comments on wearability of the sweaters. I love knitting but too warm of a sweater just won’t be worn. Also, the yarn. I have sensitivity to many wools. So, when you can’t wear a yarn, even though it’s a joy to work with. I just won’t wear it.
I wanted to tell you how much I look forward to your videos. I’ve shared them with two of my friends and they are now huge fans of you as well. In your opinion, what are a few of the softest non/superwash yarns you’ve used. I have sensitive skin so have always used merino super wash but would like to venture into non-superwash. Thank you for letting us into your corner of the world from a big city Bostonian. We appreciate it a lot
I highly recommend giving Sandnes garn Sunday/ double Sunday a try. Also knitting for olive merino. Such great options and they don’t have the price tag of hand dyed yarn
I feel like as I have gotten better at selecting things ti make that I will also love to wear its become harder to select a favorite make. I wear by building blocks drop cardigan allllll the time but I also would put my two lentos in my most worn category. Like Arkansas, Oklahoma doesn't lend its self to super heavy color work sweaters so my lightweight or short sleeved things get more wear. Over the spring and summer my Traveller Shell was also one of my most worn items and I adore it for both fit and color.
🌴☀️Happy New Year to one of my top 3 channels of any category on YT🤭 hope 2025 is awesome for you dear one☀️🌴 Edit: favorite make for me is the Ginny Cardigan by Andrea Mowry except I haven’t finished it. I’ll be steeking my version & about to Italian bind off the hem ribbing. I heard about this pattern from you btw🤭 ok later🌷
Thanks for giving reviews with the garments. Does this mean we will have a knit it or frog it video of WIPs? Just for inspiration. My favorite make was a sleeveless Glenan with a modified hoodie.
I feel like maybe you’ve said in past videos that circular yoke sweaters haven’t created a great fit for you. The ones you’ve shown today look great! I am fairly small-busted, and while my Ravelry favourites are full of pretty yoke sweaters, I’m hesitant to knit another one because they fit me awkwardly also. Could you speak to this circular conundrum…what design features work better than others or successful mods you’ve made? Thanks!
I really enjoyed seeing your knits and I have added a couple of the patterns to my queue in Ravelry. I think my favourite knit that I made in 2024 was Caitlin Hunter’s ‘Autumn Alpine’. I was interested to see your Pressed Flowers Shawl. I have the Pressed Flowers Sweater in my queue. Is the pressed flowers design technically difficult?
@@lyndseywilliams3618 I just have been knitting for a long time! So I’ve sped up quite a bit but also - I just always have my knitting with me. I take everywhere. Even around the house. So I probably get more time in than many.
I am NOT sick of these types of videos and will not complain if you happen to making a sewing version! Lovely knits!
I’ll try to make one for sewing soon!
Agreed 💖
I love annual roundup videos! Also appreciate when people include how the yarn wears and how useful they found their project.
Thanks! I try to note the details that I find helpful too.
Never bored on annual review it is so helpful to have information on how the projects hold on or are wearable.

Awesome! Thank you!
That sounds magnificent! Wear it proudly!
The Love Letter Top sounds amazing! You're making me want to knit one now!
Your Paulie cardigan is really pretty and nice that it's not superwash yarn (also love your boots) All your color choices are soothing. I want to try the merino cotton blend yarn you used on Hey Sailor.
I'm so glad you love the Paulie cardigan; it's one of my favorites! And knitting for olive cotton merino is superb! You will love it!
I loved all your knits! Well done and a happy new year to you xx
Thank you so much!
One more thing.. you styled everything very well.. Its like a lookbook.
Thank you!!! I appreciate that so much
Hello Kaci, thank you for sharing! I went over and bought the lumme sweater, and to my surprise, she had a T-shirt version of it! That's great and I am already starting to think spring.😄
That’s so great you are already thinking of spring knitting! I think the Lumme tee is a stunner
Knitting in the snow sounds wonderful! We are supposed to get some too
Amazing knits for 2024! I very much enjoy your videos and various craft projects, keep on going!
Thank you so much!
I live in Georgia and deal with the same thing! Especially when knitting for my warmer natured husband.
Those are all amazing choices - so many great knits in that list!
I love these videos! So inspiring to me! Your work is beautiful
Thank you so much!
Knitting a Pelica Vest is such a great accomplishment! I bet it looks amazing! Also I hope you enjoy using a knitting notebook! I love using one!!!
I love these videos... and so happy to watch yours! My favorite make of the year has been the Gabi Blouse by LeKnit. I don't see many of them but I think it's such a beautiful pattern with a little puff sleeve and slightly different neckline. :)
I love the Gabi Blouse; it’s a stunner!
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤
I might have to reconsider the Celeste sweater. I love it but thought it would be to complicated, so thank you for the information 🥰
It was very confident beginner friendly!
@ 🥰
I love these what I knit videos! They are so fun to see. Although I do get a bit embarrassed by my FO pile compared to my WIPs pile 😅 I don’t have many FOs from the past year. Most are still WIPs, but I did finish my very first cardigan ever just before the end of the year and I’m very proud of that!
Ok my wip pile is out of control so you are in good company haha
Loved everything x
Thank you!!!!
Did God give you extra hours in your day? lol.
I love Noro Madara! It’s such a special yarn!!!
Love this video. A tip for your tops that may be a little more open, always wear a nude color bra, it will make all the difference. Kinda the same thing as nude panties under white linen pants or shorts.
Great tip!! It's all about the little things to make an outfit look put together!
So pretty knits! Very inspiring❤
Thank you
That was fun-thx for posting!
Thanks for watching!
I love your comments on wearability of the sweaters. I love knitting but too warm of a sweater just won’t be worn. Also, the yarn. I have sensitivity to many wools. So, when you can’t wear a yarn, even though it’s a joy to work with. I just won’t wear it.
I totally get it! It’s important to find those yarns that are perfect fit for your
I wanted to tell you how much I look forward to your videos.
When I see a Lumme sweater I often mistake it for Birkin. Both are beautiful. I have yarn (purl soho good wool) set aside for Celeste.
The Lumme and Birkin are both stunners!
The is so true! I need more summer tops!
I have an eyelet top like that, too. My tips: Wear a flesh-toned bra and a peachy tank top underneath. You will feel secure.
🌴☀️Happy New Year to one of my top 3 channels of any category on YT🤭 hope 2025 is awesome for you dear one☀️🌴
Edit: favorite make for me is the Ginny Cardigan by Andrea Mowry except I haven’t finished it. I’ll be steeking my version & about to Italian bind off the hem ribbing. I heard about this pattern from you btw🤭 ok later🌷
Thank you so much!! I love the Ginny Cardigan; it’s a stunner.
Thanks for giving reviews with the garments. Does this mean we will have a knit it or frog it video of WIPs? Just for inspiration. My favorite make was a sleeveless Glenan with a modified hoodie.
Ooooo I don’t know! I’m a bit embarrassed by my wip collection🤣🤣🤣
You could add bra strap keepers to the tops where the neck does not stay in place. This would make these knits more wearable.
That’s a clever idea, thank you! I didn’t know they made them!
Please don't shorten the Aperture Sweater! It looks absolutely fabulous on you with leggings!!😍
21:00 you could try to sew in little flaps with snaps to lock in you bra straps.
That’s a great idea!
@ thank you. It even rhymes. 🤣
Beautiful work. Might I suggest you use more lighting as it was hard to see the colors of your garments.
I got a new camera and this was the first video I recorded on it. I noticed after the fact it was way too dark! Next video will be better hopefully
Any tips on knitting speed? Seriously, how did you get so much done?
@@lyndseywilliams3618 I just have been knitting for a long time! So I’ve sped up quite a bit but also - I just always have my knitting with me. I take everywhere. Even around the house. So I probably get more time in than many.
We may need to move y’all to a colder climate so those heavier sweaters will work harder for you?!😃😂😃👏🏼👏🏼🧶🧶🧶🥰
Love you're knits, beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Why does the sweater you are wearing look “ruffled”? Is it an issue with tension/needle size?
🍀🧿🧿🧿🧿💕
We are not tried of this type videos!! Trust your viewers/fans
So glad you're here for it! 😊
Step by step cardigan is not for free
It should be if you follow the interactions! Use code “SBS100” to receive it for free. She has the info on Ravelry page.
