Yeah I think that setting is for forcing HD audio devices to just use standard definition audio rather than to activate HD. It's already on by default for compatible devices I'm pretty sure.

does the HD audio or HiRes Audio qoth with non-samsung TWS like Oneplus buds pro 2? does spatial audio work? whether audio code setting is present like SSC or LDAC?

With galaxy buds2pro with SCC spatial audio works as well as Hi-res audio. I tried my XM3 from Sony and the spatial audio works fine and Samsung support ldac too so it works

If it's listed under Bluetooth then is obvious that is for compatible Bluetooth in ear and headset. Never gonna be compatible with wired sets
